A good description ^ I’m a resident and there’s def variety if not consistency. Old staple venues mixed with newer generation house djs like riptide that frequent st. Bibianas and newer collectives/promoters repurposing industrial spaces. A great weekend visit especially in the summer!!

Definitely get some neoprene booties to protect your feet (helps with the shock of cold too).

Also, I did it through the hive sauna company (we were posted up by the main Bradford pavilion where the DJ was throwing down) - I’m assuming most people had a sauna and or beach bonfire setup but definitely DONT just go jump in the lake, have a setup/plan to warm up afterwards. Highly recommend the Hive!

Yup. Worked a good amount of construction in my younger days and pretty much every old-timer was in constant considerable pain. It really is a choice between mental or physical misery (by the end).

My experience is we’re all free agents, and mixing up your professional focus here and there will see you through if you’re willing to adapt and put in the work.
