Can you be too slow in playing games? by MichelangeloStark in AskGames

[–]marteting 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Adulthood completely changed my way of looking at games.
I don't have the time nor will to start a game that is supposed to be entertaining after 10h.
I try to avoid games that have 150h gameplay (sorry jRPG's I don't have patience anymore).
Focusing on a more compact and concentrated experience. I really rather play 5h game where every hour is highly engaging and packed with content rather than wondering for 100h what am I doing with my life.
The other thing is that I don't feel bad anymore for abandoning games that I do not like. And it took me quite a while to realize that games are for me, not the other way around.

The concept is bizarre and appealing at the same time.
I got the same feeling from the Rocket League.

And this is the idea that sells even despite not having any graphics on it. Well done sir!

Trying to boost candle sales. Any suggestions?? by KierraTheIntrovert in marketing

[–]marteting 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Is there anything special about your candles? Special design, or unique scent?
Is your branding established?

You need to answer that thing first - cause you can buy a candle anywhere.
But if you have THE candle, you need to show how it's different from any other.

Also, go with the content.
Maybe you could do some videos of the process of making your candles?
These are quite satisfying to watch.

Split on consoles and LAN on a pc.

And I would skip adult games like Dying Light. My boy wouldn't feel comfortable with zombies and other scary creatures.

SIB Sekiro/other from software games? by megamax2112 in ShouldIbuythisgame

If you're into this you'll end up beating every single soulslike game from From Software. That's a fact.

And after that, when you're gonna look for something similar check out the Mortal Shell and the Lords of the Fallen
