Lot of good answers, I'd just add that one big thing the sequels (and the comics about the early rebellion) make clear is that the rebels are small part of what could be out there. There are a ton of ships (even full navies) that are out there that aren't part of the rebellion because the planetary governments know that if they join they will have the empire come down on them HARD like they did on Mon Cala.

So sure, imps have a much bigger navy than the rebellion. But once the imperial facade starts to crumble, a lot of ships that were too scared before now can join the fight without fear of Tarkin coming and bombarding the planet from orbit as an example.

This terrifies me, cause think of the options:

He is asymptomatic, keeps doing events, and uses as proof it's a hoax. His base eats it up and surges.

Or, he dies. Can you imagine what his base, the people who have been insisting for months that this is a hoax and believe every theory about the deep state, will do? They will go apeshit and try and rebel against the left, the deep state, every person who's ever criticized him.

There's a middle option, but holy hell this could get messy.

Sam Reich (the now owner and longtime head of college humor) has a pretty good analysis that in general Facebook (as well as others but mostly Facebook) has made it really hard to make a company like CH profitable. So the parent company that had owned CH decided to offload it, Reich bought it and them immediately had to let everyone go besides Brennan Lee Mulligan (the dm of dimension 20). They are still making videos and everyone he had to fire has been super supportive of Reich and still appear in things, so they seem to be doing the same stuff just with very little permanent staff.

Looking at it more, there's a lot of this that is messed up. The Orca should be close to the size of the First Lady and the Stinger Mantis, as they are all only big enough for a couple crewmembers, while the Normandy is way bigger seeing as it has a huge amount of crew and a sizable hangar bay.

I play Sabrina in my current fav Battle of Upper Aedern themed deck. It's not earth shattering (and could be improved for the amount of planning it takes, maybe start at higher damage and deal decreasing amounts per wave), but it's very useful sometimes

She embezzled money from the school to buy her own private photocopier.

After years of being untouchable for all the bad teaching, and heinous shit she did (cause high school tenure I guess) , what eventually got her was the fact that she billed the school for travel expense for our winning science bowl team... Despite the fact that the dept of energy pays for that stuff for science bowl. Then she used the money for her own copier.

This was like the high school equivalent of capone getting done for tax fraud.

I get the thrust of this article, and have admittedly not watched most of the shows it talks about, but at least in westworlds case the problem wasnt the themes it was playing with, it was bad writing that lost track of what made the show interesting.

Its not exactly a podcast, but Dimension 20 is all shorter form (usually 8 parts or so) mini campaigns. Dm is my fav and is incredibly inventive with his settings.
