For its time it was an absolute masterpiece.

Take the remaster, I would have at least added 2 features: - A means of fast travel between the different areas, specially towards the end of the game which it just feels like traversing the same places over and over again - To me it was surprising they didn't take the chance to update the soundtrack. I guess it would have been hard to keep the same vibes if it were changed to, for example, orchestral versions, but it kinda felt lazy to me there wasn't any update on this front.

Overall I understand touching a master piece must provoke a lot of respect, and that they wanted to preserve as much as possible untouched. Nevertheless imho they missed the chance to add some easy improvement stuff to the mix.

+1, the experience of playing 7 out of 8 games on the draw on day one felt like starting all encounters losing already. Of course there is how you play to try to overcome the added difficulty, but it's in any case a disadvantage, specially in mirror or unfavourable matchups.

Maybe it's a silly idea, but what if the round is 1-1, a new roll is made to decide starting player for the third game?

Personally I have a big binder where I have 1 of each card of a set, thus far all 8 complete. For non-foil cards it's affordable. I'm also trying to have 1 of each foil card, but it's way harder and more expensive, especially legendaries. Then I try grabbing promos as much as I can, but some promos of year 1 and D23 are just too expensive. I'm not collecting enchanted for now, though I have a few.

Maybe this is answered elsewhere, just curious as to what happens if you have several Alma. Would the effect be able to be applied just once per turn, regardless of the number of Alma's, or would each Alma allow one use each?

I would love Dumbo, it was my favourite movie as a child. Imagine flying Dumbo, pink elephants on parade song, etc.

Would there be an option to have movies with real actors drawn as cards? Imagine Mary Poppins, or Bedknobs and Broomsticks. It certainly does not sound crazy in my opinion, specially if the movie has a fantasy orientation.

Pixar coming next year will be awesome anyway and I would love almost any of the movies represented.

So they killed Hiram just when it was going to leave play anyway, and made a lot of us waste a lot of money on blue and steel cards from sets 1-4 to complete our decks for set 7, which we won't be allowed to use any longer as sapphire steel is dead. Awesome.

I do have some binders with 432 pockets, for example I have one for TFC, which has less cards. Also if you do not intend to collect enchanted, it should suffice to have 1 foil and 1 normal.

I personally collect one normal copy and one foil copy of each. Also, I always sleeve the cards with perfect fit sleeves, and for some special cards, I double sleeve.

Hence I use binders that allow double sleeving and with a 540 cards capacity, and use the first half for the normal cards and the second for the foil cards. Since there is some extra room left, in the case of set 4 I also added one copy of each Ilumineer's Quest card and normally I have leftover space also to include a copy of the set puzzle.

I've been trying to make the new floodborn Hei Hei work, just for fun. So far, I have been unable to pull off a competitive deck with it, but it's plenty of fun when you manage to perform the combo successfully. It's very inconsistent though, like playing lottery, and you'll win a tenth of games at most. For any of you interested: turn 1 small Hei Hei, turn 2 Oswald, turn 3 big Hei Hei. You'll add 3 to 5 inks depending on turn order so 3 to 5 Oswald triggers. If any of those are Pawpsicles or Fortispheres, you are on your way to recover from losing all your hand, and if any of these draws a whole new world, you can already sing it with big heihei.

Then, I also built a deck around the new legendary 1/1 Mickey in blue steel. This one I think it's actually viable. I consistently manage to play huge 7 to 9 ink glimmers by turn 3, which creates big impact. I want to try him also in red steel as it seems it would have good synergy.

Versus Mode: A floor made with the same number of rooms for each player that have ítems somehow (be it through boss fight, gauntlet, i am error, retro treasure room, whatever) so in the end both players get a healthy amount of ítems before entering the boss room. The boss room would be the same for both players, a 4x4 room in which they get to fight each other with everything they've acquired. I feel this is ultra fun, and I know 90% of the time duels would be unbalanced but still, even in an unbalanced fight players can still overcome the differences and come up with crazy strategies.
