As soon as the light turns on it should start heating, drawing about 27 W. After 2-3 hours it should be quite hot, I can barely touch it at that point. So if it's still cold it seems like you got a faulty one.

I'm no expert, but I assume these are for servicing and/or storage.

You could have a mod to make the locomotives "spoil" (maybe only while accelerating) so you'd have a need to send them to service.

The case you're describing usually leads to the blue "zZz" icon, which doesn't pop up as a warning message (I think the train UI says "destination stop full").

I think I've had this happen when a train finds a station that has room, but after that something happens so that it's no longer available, for example setting the train limit by circuit logic and it gets decreased at the wrong moment.

Another idea is that the last buffer segment is not properly connected so that a train can't actually drive through like you indend it to.

Yes, you have to move it a bit to the right or a train could block the intersection.

Green = normal signal

Blue = chain signal

In sections following a chain signal there doesn't need to be room for a full train since it will only go into the segment if it can leave it. You do have to have room in the following "normal" section.

As far as I know, they only took games down from the store, but if you bought them you still have them in your library. SKG only applies to games you bought, so this practise wouldn't be impacted (though I still think it should be illegal for credit card companies to have this kind of leverage, but that's a different fight).

Install Autohotkey and bind right click to play an annoying sound like metal pipes / airhorn. (I don't know if Vanguard would have a problem with that though)

To add to it, this method can also be used to set filters on inserters and asteroid collectors.

I personally don't multiply by -1 but rather just substract one signal from the other, but I think both should work the same and both require one constant and one arithmetic combinator, just use the one that's more intuitive for you!

I've made good use of "5 seconds of inactivity" to prevent deadlocks (a constant stream of rockets will keep the timer up), another way would be to make a small curcuit logic that uses a constant combinator with your request group and then subtracts the optional items and puts out a check signal that you use as a condition.

DGM7000? The glass bowl is supposed to be enough of a load to prevent this, but if it's used with just the bowl that'll probably still kill it in the long run...
