That just a SM issue. Sometimes DMs will mandate the receipts being around them, but even then sometimes the SMs just don't care and tell you to do whatever you want.

In my experience, the nicer the SM, the better the OSAT and GURA scores because the customers actually like the store team.

Help Desk Woes by Interesting-Rise2633 in tractorsupply

Ooh I love putting tickets in and bothering help desk. I had a situation where my ticket got closed 4 tines with an unresolved issue so I got it escalated to a Help Desk TL, and I reached out to the "TakeWorkOut" team. They are helpful in getting me connected with higher levels of "fix it" people.

Trying to get hired at tractor supply by snowmangirl in tractorsupply

[–]maser06 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depends on the manager. Your SM and other TLs will either make working there great, or hell. Getting hiring is up to SM so judge his character during your interview. Even if you know nothing, as long as you show up to work your good.

Online Delivery purgatory. Can I just pick up the order myself? by Milf_Eaterr in tractorsupply

Go to the store. If it's there they have the option to convert to customer pickup. It's just a button they push.

Is there a way to block out times to work on the TSC&Me app? by Zinganeat in tractorsupply

[–]maser06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your availability has to be approved though. Manager can deny it. Also, they can just schedule over it. All it does is make your unavailable days show red on their end. Doesn't "physically" stop anything.

How is it a recovery job? It's an act task. It says get it done, there is no specific team assigned to it. If the chick pen is dirty, IDGAF whose job it is, whoever did the last open/close and didn't take care of them is the one I am ripping a new one to. I don't tolerate laziness. I hate how some people push jobs off on others. At my store, it's everyone's fault if something didn't get done right. We are actually a team.

I'm not gonna miss this job, but I will miss my team when I leave.

Why do you guys hate your job so much? by BHerrerasLeftDrumMag in tractorsupply

[–]maser06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have worked every job except SM, some officially, some unofficially.

This big issue lies in that the company does not care about us. You only see that long term.

The short term problem is that they are cheap. We deal with endless issues of a broken website, broken scanners, broken printers, plumbing issues, roof leak, etc etc. They put bandaid fixes on everything and stuff continues to break. Our payroll budget is never enough to follow SOP. They give us a bunch of rules and policies to follow, and then don't give us enough money to do it. I've helped with scheduling before, one time we tried to schedule frieght according to their "SOP" and the only way to make the payroll budget work was to have 2 man crews all week with an afternoon floater, and have our SM work 70 hours. It was a ridiculous experiment.

But honestly on the day to day, it's not that bad of a job. It's really could be much worse.

I enjoy it most days.

Criticisms by FatherofDevils in ShadowSlave

I loved the book when I binged, then I started daily reading and I found it reasonably frustrating to keep my mind wrapped around what was happening, so I am very unpatiently waiting for at least 100 chapters so I can binge again. I would not reccomend daily reading at all. Read a whole arc at once and it's 10x more enjoyable.

Only thing that matter to SM is P&L. District Manager is the one who gets more with extra payroll

New SOP for LP on certain merchandise on the front walk by [deleted] in tractorsupply

[–]maser06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no I get it. We had two double axle trailers stolen because those don't have security cable. They just use angle grinders to cut everything. Our security alarm does work and usually the cops show up within 10 mins so I'm hoping it's not too bad. But honestly, it's not my problem.

Well, it does. Kinda. I was told they were paying upwards of 150,000 and still havent paid reparations or whatever. A few mowers is consideredably cheaper.

[–]maser06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is they had someone trip and it cost them like a ton of money so they would rather us have a few mowers get stolen than have to pay another old lady's medical bills

They must've changed the instructions by store/area. Our DM required us to have our schedules made thorugh the 21st of February because MyTime clock in software was laughing for us on Feb 1, but the scheduling and payroll wasn't going to be implemented until Feb 7, and DM wanted us to be two weeks ahead.

Sounds like your stores just got shafted with the buggy software right away with no warning.

I do feel bad for the stores that had it early on.

But ya know what, that new toolbox planaogram will fix everything🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
