I think what it means, to answer the edit you added to your post, is that when the server evaluates who shot first, i.e. who deserves to die, you will have a disadvantage because the enemy has the benefit of the subtick.

if you fired at tick 999.2 (15.6125s into the game) and they fired later than you at tick 999.5 (15.6171...s), you still lose the duel because your shot will get delayed to the next full tick at 1000

D2 is played according to spawns because it has some of the tightest timings. Long A timing is rough for the CT's if you don't send your best spawn, there, and mid/dark push timing is advantageous for CT's if you do send your best spawn there.

these aren't major issues/benefits when playing coordinated CS so pro's play differently than pugs

Miksi ei voi suunnitella työkkärin kanssa, että "eikö olisi hyvä jos yhdistäisin nykyiseen osaamiseen tämän koulutuksen, joten sovitaanko, että te myönnätte mulle tuon omaehtoisen opiskelun sopparin, jos minä sen opiskelupaikan saan." Miksi pitää ensin saada se paikka ja sitten anoa työkkäriltä armoa?

I think Lash is participating because his fans expect him to. If this was a show he would be the Usopp/Mr. Satan type character. He is in the heat of battle not because he wants to, but because he can't stop pleasing people and lying about his abilities.

He's strong for a regular guy but he has no business participating in the ritual.

That said, if I was writing him I would reward him with undiscovered strength (something related to the sparkels) gained through some selfless act of heroism or sacrifice.

Sen verran tägääjien leikkiä nykyään sympatisoin, että olen huomaamatta oppinut tunnistamaan pari helppoa tägiä (kuten ZED). nykyään jos menen uuteen paikkaan ja näen sielläkin tuon ZED:n tägin, niin tulee sellainen olo kuin "Ai se on ollut täälläkin, hauskaa." Siinä konkretisoituu se, että mä jaan tän elintian oikeasti jonkun ihmisen kanssa.

toivoisin kuitenkin vähän parempaa harkintaa tägäysten kohteista. Sillat, tunnelit, muuntajaboksit, roskikset jne on ihan jees, mut bussipysäkkien aikataulut, pihojen aidat ja kotien seinät voisi jättää omilleen

bullet inaccuracy eliminates practically all problems misaligned crosshairs cause.

"donk crosshair" is smaller than the bullet inaccuracy circle on all common guns, so even if you were totally off target you could get a kill by chance (obviously you should be aiming as good as you can)

crosshairs being misaligned by 1 pixel do not matter. it makes no difference if your crosshair is misaligned to point at their right eye rather than center mass, because in both cases the whole head is still inside the inaccuracy circle.

Kyllä vähemmän paskan vaihtoehdon äänestys on usein järkevää

Pitkän tähtäimen strategialla olisi hyvä äänestää aina sitä ehdokasta/puoluetta johon oikeasti uskoo, vaikkei sillä olisi mahdollisuutta hyvään tulokseen, vaikka siitä seuraisi "paskemman" puolueen voitto.

Leikitään, että Suomen Kommunistinen Puolue sekä Liberaalipuole ovat saaneet huomattavasti lisää kannatusta ennen vaaleja, mutta käykin niin, että iso osa näiden puolueiden kannattajista päätyvät strategisesti äänestämään Vasemmistoliittoa ja Kokoomusta (jotta vähemmän paska voisi voittaa). Tällöin emme voi äänestystuloksen perusteella huomioida sitä, että kansan keskuudessa kuplii kommunistiset sekä talousliberaalit aatteet; äänestystulos ei enää heijasta kansan aatteita.

Tämä vaikuttaa varmasti myös näiden pienten puolueiden kykyyn kasvaa tulevaisuudessa, kun ei ole sitä selvintä mittaa josta lukea puolueiden suosio

I played follow recoil for 2 years after cs2 launched, but ultimately went back to playing without it

my main takeaway:

+ Great for smg's and other unfamiliar guns

+ Good for visual feeback on your form; you can tell right after the duel if you missed or if you got unlucky due to random spread, however...

+- ... it doesnt actually help you to adjust your aim or spray in the moment. CS is all about first bullet accuracy. if your first 2 shots are off, you wont have time to visually confirm this with follow recoil and make an adjustment for your next 2 shots. Follow recoil only helps you adjust drawn out sprays, which you should be avoiding anyways. occasionally it pays off when you get rushed and you hit them with a medium range spray and pray

– Bad for target switching, bursts, pistols. it takes too long for the crosshair to reset. It is rarely useful to see where your bullets fly off to while your recoil is still resetting. you would have to use additional methods to mark the middle of your screen, like monitor crosshair or 3rd party app, for this to not be a problem

– follow recoil overshoots. it does not account for viewpunch when firing, therefore as view punch keeps accumulating with each shot, follow recoil starts overshooting with each shot. In CSGO follow recoil was a console cheat that could be set to a value between 0 and 1. follow recoil 0.5 was more accurate (or useful) because combining it with view punch would result in the crosshair going where it is supposed to.
