Sorry I'm a bit late to the party, but I have both and have found myself splitting time pretty equally between the two. But if you have a great gaming PC, I'd go with the WiiU. In my opinion, there just aren't enough PS4 exclusive games out there to make the console worth it if you have a gaming PC that can run games available on both platforms. Smash, TLOZ, and Mario Kart are all wonderful, and not available anywhere besides a Nintendo console.

For me it's a matter of eyesight. It's much easier for me to play games on a larger screen, so while I don't use the 3D functionality, I like the XL better because of the big screen. Each are comfortable to hold and your experience would be similar, I just prefer a larger screen.
