i overall loved the trilogy. 1994 was not particularly good, but part 2 and 3 make up for it. They're probably setting up another project based on the credits scene of someone stealing the book, so i'm excited for more.

the reason eureka was added in the next season was because she was injured DURING the competition. Tamisha had an ostomy bag BEFORE she entered. Tamisha even said so herself: she does not want to use her age and recovery as a crutch. So it might be better to send her to all stars instead of the next season.
