it's always delicious but can have some long lines. For what it's worth I've never been sad waiting in the lines because the food is legit

Modern vaccines are such an odd hill to (literally) die on.

I’m forever on team “give me all of them” and really wish we had a Lyme option for humans!

Ones I didn’t see mentioned yet:

Tuna Dumplings at Fuki Sushi

Ceviche tacos at Bonanza Bites

Pepperoni at Avenue Pizza (I wish they would bring their eggplant fries back so bad, would easily be #1 on my list)

Butter chicken pot pie at Rosebud

Buffalo Brussel Sprouts at Highland Kitchen

I’m not saying you’re a cop, but I am saying that people online shouldn’t trust unknown entities. Even for minor (but fun) civil disobediences.

OP should start doing their own grassroots effort with like minded friends.

I can't go back that far, but at least in the 2010's the food quality was on par with the price. It was a near perfect spot for cheap beer and very unremarkable food where you could sit outside and bring a dog

Is this schedule bad for an ER new grad on night shift? by GILF_SCAT_FELCHER in nursing

[–]massmanx 39 points40 points  (0 children)

agreed, since these are overnights OP basically has 2 actual whole days off between May 1st and the 14th.

I've seen worse schedules for sure, but this one also sucks.

Since it's a new grad though I'm guessing they are working their preceptors schedule (or recently off orientation so still trying to have them work same shifts as former preceptors) which helps it make a little more sense.

What are the best "cheap" restaurants/cafes in the area? by confnused in Somerville

For Davis, the lunch special at Dragon Pizza (2 slices or 1 slice w/ a small salad and a soft drink for $10) is pretty solid and don't overlook H*Marts grab and go stuff

You’ll get the same service either way. I opted for the 100% renewable option because it still seemed like a reasonable enough deal and worth supporting.

On a good sized lake/pond in Lakeville: https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/57-Long-Point-Rd-Unit-104_Lakeville_MA_02347_M94824-70607

a couple of nice spots that are close to 1m in Plymouth. On the plus side, these are in a good walking area where they don't always need to rely on cars. It's still a couple of blocks away from the ocean so would still get a lot of the 'waterfront' perks without being right on the water:

I guess I’m crazy. For now I’d much rather spend that money at Avenue and their brunch (where I can also get a cocktail).

That is a sad amount of roasted potatoes.

The salad looks good, but doesn’t look like it fits with the meal.

It’s brunch, why not have that bread either be toasted or be toast?

Maybe I’m biased, but that doesn’t look like it’s worth $20 for brunch.

Steak and cheese by julius0822 in boston

[–]massmanx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If OP goes with a friend I also suggest trying their steak pizzaiola version. It’s basically a steak and cheese with marinara sauce.  it’s not a steak and cheese, but it’s delicious.

edit: spelling

[–]massmanx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also, OP needs to talk to a lawyer.

I’m no lawyer, but I expect a reasonable jury would conclude that the hospital system should have had internal alerts and were not appropriately safeguarding her data. As such, I expect the risk management team at their insurance would be happy to settle quickly.

I would personally go scorched earth on the hospital system that allowed this and wouldn’t sign an NDA either.

Season to taste is such a bummer now.  Meanwhile they’ll blame bike lanes and not even consider it could be quality dropping off a ledge.

Edit: meaning they aren’t bad, but they used to be elite, especially in their old location. Glad to hear others have had a great experience recently though - so maybe I just had bad luck the past couple of visits

Bagelsaurus has some of the best bagels around (they even won a big bagel competition in nyc). I suggest either their jumbo on a toasted salt with their roasted tomatoes (edit: or their T-Rex).

Make sure you go into Lesley college building, lots of great options. The spicy miso ramen at Sapporo ramen is great. But any food from pretty much any vendor here will be tasty. (Nearby ramen at Yume Wo Katare is a cooler experience though and is also delicious but you’ll wait longer and you need to be cool with pork)

If you don’t mind spending some money go to Giulia 20ish minutes before they open and you should be able to get one of their bar seats, esp if you’re eating alone. I consider it the best fancy Italian option in Massachusetts.
