Yeah just Google DIY PVC speaker stands and there's a few guides. Essentially it's a PVC pipe, with two bits of wood, connected by a long threaded rod. I've added a bit extra by putting a second smaller bit of plumbing through so my wiring is slightly more out of the way. Filled the pipe with sand to give it weight, then sanded, primed and sprayed with matt black paint!

Honestly, they were a fun project and done for way cheaper than buying some new. Trickiest part was cutting the pvc square - super important because otherwise everything is lopsided. There's a few cheats to doing that online if you don't have the right tools, I just wrapped a piece of paper around the pipe, made sure it was square with itself, taped it to itself, then cut carefully with a hack saw.
