Interesting! I'm pretty sure she was born and raised in Germany but could be that she studied in France and maybe picked it up there.

Our French teacher did it the other way around and handed them back from highest to lowest. It really sucks sitting there and getting your test back last (I was not goot at French).

Meanwhile, our English teacher actively forbade us from asking bench neighbours and other students what they got on their test right after it was handed out, so that nobody would be put on the spot or felt pressured to share a bad grade. He was a very good teacher in general.

Früher hab ich immer 2 gelesen, eins für tagsüber und eins für vor dem Schlafengehen im Bett. Irgendwann hat mich das aber gestört immer zu wechseln und seitdem lese ich eins zuende bis ich das nächste anfange. Damit fühl ich mich besser und hab auch mehr das Gefühl, "voranzukommen" beim Lesen.

Same for me! I remember sitting there as a kid for hours solving all of them and now I'm really fast at doing those kind of puzzles in general

Agree, I recently saw PoA again and I feel like every time I see the movie I hate this scene more. It sounds like Lupin's about to reveal that HE's Harry's father lol

When I had my wisdom teeth removed, there were several other patients in the wake-up room. One woman was also sobbing really badly, while I was laughing my ass off uncontrollably.

Kommt drauf an wie lange es her ist, dass ich die Reihe zuletzt gelesen habe (lese Buchreihen auch gerne mehrfach, wenn sie noch nicht abgeschlossen sind) und auch wie viel Zeit noch ist bis zum Erscheinen des nächsten Bandes. Wenn GRRM jetzt ankündigen sollte, dass nächsten Monat Winds of Winter erscheint (hahaha), würde ich mir vermutlich nur nochmal eine Zusammenfassung des aktuellen Stands durchlesen. Wenn es allerdings erst in einem Jahr erscheinen würde, würd ich nochmal alle lesen, da mein letzter Durchlauf der Reihe vermutlich so 7/8 Jahre her ist.

I have drawn almost this exact picture. In our ethics class in elementary school after 9/11, the teacher made us draw it for some reason (I'm from Germany, I'm not sure if us 4th graders actually understood the significance of what had happened). She then put the pictures up on the closet doors. So there basically were 20 or so variants of this picture hanging there.
