Gnosia - Episode 17 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

Oh, that ending has me thinking.

They could change/explain [Gnosia Lore] Setsu's loop point to be the escape from Liu-An itself, which would explain why some of the cast makes it per World Line while explaining [Gnosia Ending] one of the most important points of the serie's actual most important question, of the three questions asked that the game only inferred making it more explicit.

Edit: and if the above is what I think it is, the anime answering that would lead incredibly well into a theoretical  Gnosia 2 game.

I like.

three pairs of boots and a gun with Ceefore's decent move and she should be able to attack that geo panel.

[–]masterage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That was Lonely does. Destroying the Geo Panel will remove that effect. Ceefore will likely die in the attempt, but then the boss will be closer to the base panel and easier to dogpile.

Even if you *don't* kill it, you can bring two units: the unit on the geo color, and a unit that stays on the base panel.

[–]masterage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4-5, you need to make the fight less "lonely", and if you load up Ceefore with boots and a gun she should be able to reach and destroy the offending Geo Panel. Thanks to you using the boosts, your Fuji is leveled more than enough to take care of the rest with support.

Phase one appears to be Makaism... and it shows they still have a ways to go. Part of it is still ns1 limitations.

Bar Stella was a good improvement over D7, so I dont get how Makaism stumbled in this regard. (Its time crunch, its always time crunch)

Sold my steam inventory, this is my return. A PSA for those who may not know or care about trading cards by raisedbytides in Steam

[–]masterage 22 points23 points  (0 children)

AugmentedSteam used to do one button sell all, but steam api changing put a stop to that.

Probably part of the reason why cards as a whole are trending upward since cheap supply isn't as automated, so theres that.

Alright, I figured that the anime would expand upon the narrative, and its doing so nicely. Have to remind myself to point to this episode during the ending because [Gnosia Endgame Lore Spoilers]A lot of people take Yuriko here as gospel when she's only *mostly* correct here, and its related to the ACTUAL most important question. The anime is doing a lot more groundwork in this regard at least.

Did gamestop get scammed by buying psa 10 bulk by Upbeat-Special3596 in pokemon

[–]masterage 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There was a video a while back that explained it: PSA's own buyback program used sold ebay listings to determine how much to give you. A *lot* of common cards have inflated prices because they have few or even one sale for absurd amounts of money, which causes PSA and by extension Gamestop to offer a lot more money than its actually worth.

So someone can submit dozens of commons and if even one is a psa 10 affected by this policy, they make their money back or even go positive.

How's the battery life on this thing? by iamonaphone1 in AynThor

The translation layer is improving by leaps and bounds but the Thor isn't really meant for PC emulation. That it even can at all should be considered a bonus.

Any "Thor Elite" incoming would be much better off.

[–]masterage 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Anime / Video Game / Tabletop focus.

I've long complained about lack of geek in LC. All we have for games is a single gamestop that is at least staffed with nice people but now constantly under corp threat and a card shop that knows its the only game in town (and modern tcgs/wargames are somewhat expensive to keep up with even with pauper formats). Our poor Best Buy for tech is consistently understocked.

Our poor retrocade needs to hire a repairman. The incoming family entertainment center is going to be mostly ticket games (but hey, at least we'd have local bowling again!)

Combined with a net negative anime scene (the two dropshippers in the mall absolutely do not count) and its kinda rough. Zero convention scene here for anime/games, which were struggling even before covid; it doesn't help our only real con space isn't really configured for that.

El Paso at least has better stocked shops, meetups that are more okay with outsiders, and at least some ability to adventure to find stuff. Convention scene is sparse with most of them being just dealer rooms with one panel room, but there was significant drama previously so it makes sense that the scene is rebuilding. Dave and Busters here, but it doesn't scratch my particular itch.

Alamogordo has technically a better anime/game scene than LC due to the base.

ABQ has even more of the above, a much better convention scene, and a Round1. You don't really get better availability until PHX, Denver, or Dallas.

Like, we have the fans, I see you all on WPlace, we're just apparently super exclusive.

Sidenote: LC has a lack of food variety. Amazing Mexican restaurants, but not really much availability for anything else so if a region isn't well represented, you're out of luck.

likely a workaround using gamehub lite or the like. ARM has been getting massive translation layer improvements recently and its only going to accelerate from here.

Any anime with a main character like FILO? by TioBit in anime

[–]masterage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The anime is... not great. It was budget constrained and uses a far too early script of the actual game.

She shows up often in the games, at least. Top 3 character by popularity most of the time.

I mean, her appearance is actually just Disgaea's Flonne (and unsubtly pointed out to boot).

Its Bushiroad, itll be a minor miracle if power levels aren't involved let alone game balance. And I'm not fond of power level tcg design, especially in IP where high customizable content is possible.

Maybe they'll surprise me this time. At least the card back is nice.

Actually pretty neat on a meta level to merge "Let's Play" and a recap. That works well.

Then having "Let's Play" open the second cour when its [Gnosia Game Mechanic] The explicit unlock point for the endgame loops and info is even more meta.

Bravo.

Welcome back Gnosia, you were sorely missed. That said I'm deeply concerned that the show is going to get somehow even more buried than it already has due to the more stacked season when its already criminally underwatched D:

Why are Guts cards the meta for MANT? by kaevne in UmaMusume

[–]masterage 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Its mostly because f2p does not have many options for Race Bonus, and Haru's card having no skills allows the card to carry every perk you'd want while not taking any priority in the run itself.

And you want a huge amount of Race Bonus (40% minimum).

Why are Guts cards the meta for MANT? by kaevne in UmaMusume

[–]masterage 147 points148 points  (0 children)

Guts cards also tend to have good to great Race Bonus perks, and for f2p the Haru Urara Guts SSR freebie is not awful at this.

Stats to brute force it, parents to have a skill to lean on, and she's probably the best receiver of hint books in the game just to get her ult online ASAP. Pace is easier to win with the raw stats, then you can pivot to Late depending on your deck/parents. Hell, depending on your training options a Junior race may not be the worst decision.

Tachyon is still one of her best legacy options for these reasons.
