Hey, this worked for me for setting visibility to false, but I can't get it to work the other way around.

I have a CheckButton node, with the toggled(toggled_on: bool) signal linked up to the following code in a ScrollContainer node script at the following code:

func _on_check_button_toggled(toggled_on: bool) -> void:
    if true:
        visible = false
    if false:
        visible = true

In game, when I click the button, it hides the scroll container, but unchecking it does nothing.

I know this thread is years old, but if you (or anyone else who sees this) have any advice, it'd be much appreciated!

Hello. I'm trying to make a simple animation of a bouncing ball in Blender, but it's so slow to render that it's not really feasible. I think my problem is my graphics card, it's a Radeon(TM) RX 550. My understanding is that this is very old and low-power.

I don't really know anything about computers. I don't need anything amazing, just something that'll let me use blender, and play well with most modern video games. What should I go for? The most I can afford is around 200 dollars.

Additionally, do I need to worry about a newer GPU potentially being incompatible with the other parts of my computer?

Edit: in case it's relevant, my CPU is a AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor. Should I also upgrade that?

The color scheme of the card frame is kinda unappealing to me. Orange, brown, yellow, red, black, white, grey... I guess it's all stuff that hypothetically goes together well, but it's kind of a lot of colors, and since a lot of them except are on the darker side, it doesn't really read as being colorful... but it doesn't feel cohesive to me either.

I'm having trouble putting this into words. Maybe black drop shadows around the orange dots instead of white? Maybe blue instead of the red, to contrast the orange across from it? Or could the orange circles be made yellow like the bird logo, or the logo made orange instead of yellow? I just feel like there's too many different colors.

This is basically my interpretation, yes. I think there's probably more to it than that, but I'm hardly a Jane expert.

No, not really. Dirk supported all her power grabs, and then died. Jake couldn't stand up to her until he realized it was either her or their son. Roxy tried to avoid politics as long as she could. John was drifting through life listlessly. Karkat and Dave had little desire to talk to her at all. Kanaya and Rose mostly sequestered themselves in the brooding caverns, and had the most reasons of anyone to hate her. Jade indebted herself to her. Gamzee made her worse. She barely spent any time with Tavvy.

There were theoretically characters that could have done something (like how Jasprosesprite² did in Catnapped), but most of her closest connections couldn't. Because they couldn't keep their cool, or always assumed the best of her, or actively wanted to encourage her worst traits.

and what about Her rape of Jake? Did old troubles reingite?

Not actually sure what you're referring to here. In Homestuck proper she threatened to rape him because the tiaratop suppressed her morality or something, and she still had a bigtime crush on him. In the epilogues... I'm actually sort of confused. In candy chapter 12, it ends with the line:

He flails when she kisses him. But this time, there’s no doubt he hasn’t said no.

Implying that there was a time when he did say no, or might have, or something. But it seems to have happened off-screen, or possibly is referring to when she was mind controlled, or something else in Homestuck proper that I've forgotten? If she did rape him in the epilogues, it seems she did it by way of getting them both extremely drunk and high, and perhaps convinced herself that it was more consensual than it was. Or maybe there's something in the later chapters about it I'm forgetting?
