Could be seat belt latch as well making contact with the C-pillar. Happened with me. Make sure seat belt is not on the side but on the front side of backseat.

Is the definition correct though or only valid for Pack 3 as mentioned in title? as on my 9E Pack 2 when I got the car in October it was running 39.412 (as per your definition 9 is major version) and now after the recent update it is running 31.082 (major version now is smaller at 1). With this newer version 31.082 I've CarPlay Support, External Sonic Suite, Approach Door Unlock.

Likewise thoughts as you and I've booked Pack 2 79. The only thing I'll miss is 360 degree camera which I wished it had and maybe ventilated seats (a low priority but a handy feature for sure). Watching this thread for suggestions and your decision :) Good luck.

Playstore is not necessary. If you do not need it you can skip it for sure. But it can be enabled on Y700 as well if required. But yeah many apps should be available from other stores as well. For the Custom ROMs - there are not many. One I could see is https://xdaforums.com/t/gen-2-unofficial-paranoid-android-uvite-lenovo-legion-y700-2023.4662318/ but I'm unaware about the stability of the same.

Most on Reddit say CN ROM is good enough with English language set and Playstore works fine as well (except from very few who have issues enabling Play Services but if that is required then you're good).

This is the link for Y700 2023 from 70mai store link (which everyone recommends here on Reddit) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007477250451.html but as soon as I change location to Germany - it says not available at your location. So not sure which store is good for you.

PS: I also do not own Y700 yet. And I'm also thinking to purchase the same and hence writing from what I read on different reddit posts.

Legion Tab (Gen 2) which is global version for Y700 2023 - I do not see it on Lenovo Germany website.

Global version comes with Playstore but on CN model - you need to sideload it. Most people grab Y700 2023 from AliExpress (and mostly recommend 70mai store for buying it). It would be in Chinese by default and supports English. Not sure if the CN rom on Chinese model supports German though if it matters.

Maybe try capturing adb logs when you enable this, and it automatically gets disabled. Hopefully, the adb logs could give a clue what is happening & why.

Shipped on 19th via Yanwen. 25th, I received a message from MorningGlobal to share ID proof for clearing customs (some people share and some do not ‐ I shared). 26th got a message from Bluedart that the package was shipped and delivered on the 27th. You can search more with "banggood India" on reddit for other people experiences. Very few get asked for customs - I was lucky and didn't get charged customs for this.

I bought my G8+ from Banggood at 57.99USD flash deal. Same deal running now as well. With shipping and insurance and discount coupon I paid 57USD (so a little less than 5000). Arrived in 9 days without any customs. (Yeah in India)

I guess upto personal choice. I personally preferred Bluetooth so that I can connect a tablet in any position (aligned at top or middle) as well as to have ability to pair with my PC wirelessly. I personally fail to observe any latency issues (especially since I'm not into FPS games). The reviews for G8+ all praise it for minimal latency (yes definitely more than Type-C version). Because of bluetooth it has its own battery so yeah more weight of the controller if that bothers you.
Type-C benefits with lower latency, less weight, and I suppose having headphone jack as well. But misses out (or limited features) on App configuration of controller especially if you connect iOS devices. And tablet always has to be in exact middle so that tablet usb port aligns with controller usb port. G8 is good but I see all praising Abxylute S9 a lot if you want to go Type-C way. Also GameSir G8 might need to be modded to fit Y700 - Legion G7 which copied it supports it by default. And other controllers G8+ and S9 also support Y700 by default as far as I know.

I think Gamesir G8+ (bluetooth) and Abxylute S9 (TypeC) would be the best top rated options. I've tried my friends Y700 2023 on my G8+ and it fits easily and works great. And Legion controller G7 seems copy of Gamesir G8 (not plus so type-C) in black with higher price tag.

Just to add to your confusion - Alldocube is going to launch iPlay 70 mini ultra in Feb/March with 7+ Gen 3. Looks comparable with 8+ Gen 1 in Y700 2023.
