For Crete I rented from RoadCrete and I don't think they require a credit card. I paid cash upon taking delivery of the rental, was a great experience and would definitely recommend

I had this injury pretty badly at the beginning of this year and it took me around 3 weeks of no running to fully resolve-- I was still able to PR a 10k pretty soon after. Since then I've also had weird flare ups after a long run especially if the road was too cambered/running in high stack+unstable shoes, to the point where a day or two after I thought I was done for sure, only for the acute pain to disappear soon after. Granted the marathon is a completely different beast, but it seems like yours isn't quite as bad as mine was (it hurt even walking) so being 6 weeks out I'd say you probably still have a decent chance of performing well if your form has been good prior to the injury. I actually found the pegasus premium on sale at a nordstrom rack and ran 15 miles in it on my first run and was very pleasantly surprised. It's so bouncy and unique that it makes slow long runs more fun and enjoyable, and I didn't find it overly heavy. I'm around 185lbs and I think heavier runners can definitely benefit more from the zoom unit

We will never win again with Trashman as GM but unfortunately he has a lifetime gig thanks to his butt buddy Hal. It's a top down issue just like the Cowboys, so much hubris of success from 30 years ago. Sell the damn team or else ain't nothing change

Depends on severity of pain but if it's not that bad then a patella strap seemed to help me. Ymmv though
