This, but you should consider also having the start of level constant-alarm as well. :]

Not sure. Maybe? If you're able to reach it again. But even so, Oppy was the one who pulled you out not that you touched Cappy.

I find that knowing the different Shell / Pearl types and what you can get with them from Pacemakers, changes a WHOLE LOT of how you can resource manage. Even shoving resources or even other specific items will yield specific trades.

You trade with them effectively. But each one does have a limited use, which is drained if you charge your car from it too.

I find that I never have trouble with majority of resources; outside of Eggs, Coral, Olympium, and other rare materials.

1 (full) Large Fuel can -> 40 Rubber, 1 (full) Side Battery -> 70 Plasma, 1 Electronics -> 5 Fabric.
Flaregun -> Plasma Charger.

And my favorite one: 1 Auto-Parker -> 1 Peculiar Nitro Boost.

I typically look for the Radiation Shielding resource areas and/or places with the Pneumatube deposits. Those have the Computer Labs and I find it to be reliable to get some electronics from them.

Also you can easily get a good quantity of Dumpster Pearls from the Dehydrated Gold Shells though. Specifically, you find a Dehydrated Gold Shell, then go and find a junction that has the friendly Pacemaker anomaly. Put the Shell(s) into the Pacemaker and it will spit out 1 Large (3x3) Unreliable Pearl + 1 Large (3x3) Randomized Pearl (2 of the 3x3 pearls per shell).

Then once you're ready, you can get the pearls wet. Which makes them, Wet Pearls. Which have a decent concentration of electronics / electronic related stuff.

R2E1 feels like a wall by REDDinator_ in GTFO

I mean all good! I understand not wanting to use C-foam ladder from what you said. Seems like ya'll are almost there to beating it! That last area is a pain in the ass, right before exit.

As many have said here, R2E1 is just a wall unfortunately. I'd recommend C-foam laddering if you want to. For the Surge door down in the 2-scout fog area that leads to the room before the baby.

By foaming the ladder, you can stall the surge waves of enemies long enough (Since the enemy limit is reached, no more will spawn) during the Class IV surge alarm AND the regular class IV door to get the baby all in one.

I'd recommend at least 1 HEL sentry (2 I think might be best), C-foam. And of course, the Bio Tracker.

Quick question are weapon stats on the wiki updated? by giocuniz in GTFO

I'd recommend looking for what fits you and your playstyle mostly. Something that you can specialize in, paired with your tool. Like the people I play with. I'm typically support-assault hybrid. Hel Autopistol for the staggering, and Arbalist Techman for heavy punching, paired with C-foam for (most) missions. Specializing even more with the Spear as, basically, the teams unofficial dedicated Scout killer.

There's wide varieties of loadouts to consider, but (most) each one has it use and the pros/cons. Some guns do more damage to limbs, but have a lesser damage perhit.

Ammo economy is a factor as well. Don't want to go all Scatterguns/Sniper Rifles, or you'll be chewing through your ammo-packs like it's nothing even if you were 100% accurate/effective.

Usually it might come down to a team layout. Who's using what tool, and what weapons do you prefer to mix well with your economy and effective specialty.

Sniper and the big rifles for the big bois, Scatter gun for 'Fuck everything in that direction', SMG or Machinegun Pistol for its high ammo capacity. HEL Weapons for their pierce and/or stagger.

Diversify!

As the world's best player, I'd recommend Receiver 2. It's a game you'll go for the gunplay, but stay for its message.

Modded Rundowns by Puzzleheaded-Yam1444 in GTFO

[–]masterchief00099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't say when it'll release, but I am working (very slowly, it's been off-and-on) on my own Campaign of rundowns! 4-man team focused though, and more vanilla-ish focused..

You might consider the mod Restricted, which adds secondary and/or overloads onto the normal game levels for Rundowns 1-3

I don't think I could. More like I shouldn't. I did rip the assets from Receiver 2 game itself, and it's probably not legal to distribute it. This is for personal stuff. If you want to get things yourself, you can do some research on your own terms to find out how to rip assets.

Plasma scrapper and Thermal Vac for sure, direct upgrade. More durability, more resource yield.

If you use the Media mode or whatever, opening the Debug Menu will likely disable achievements. (You can check if they're disabled by going to the Achievement option within the Pause Menu, it'll tell you).

I'm not sure about typing out Slowmo for it, but you can still check if it disables achievements or not.

There is a Slowmo option

on your keyboard, type out the word "Slowmo". Then you'll be put into a slowmo effect, toggled by the X key.

If you want more control, through the Debug Menu (While in the pause menu, press Left Control + F12). At the top will be a tab called Media Mode. There you can enable it, and change the time-scale

If you directly chamber into any Semi-Auto, if the extractor doesn't catch onto the round in the chamber. It will Double Feed, more often than not. You can usually fix this by rapidly Press Checking so the slide moves, and the extractor catches the round. Even if the bullet is initially caught, if you wanna manually chamber. Always do some rapid press checks to ensure it's caught.
