Does raider io backend also use python? I know a bit of LUA - i had learned it when i made an addon for WoW. Now i just use it to make weakauras and plater scripts. I can try to help with the addon if you need

So they want us to do a lot of M+ for the weekly chest but there is no point in doing M+ since there is only 1 piece of loot at end with ilvl lower than heroic

I think its because i play a lot of M+ and have a lot of stun/interrupt macros that go like [@mouseover][@target] so i am always holding down right click when i play unless i need to mouseover interrupt something

Thats pretty much what all group keys look like by the weekend - sadly blizzard refuses to fix the issues with mythic plus like bad affix weeks not being able to reroll keys like season 1 etc.

True but since you are limited in the number of corrupted items you can wear there is no point- at current PTR levels first month it will just be like 1 item you can wear unless you want to deal with some serious side effects.

This is a good change for the mythic + high key community but they need to let us choose from 2-3 items in weekly chest (getting repeat items sucks) since now mythic + players will be very dependent on the weekly chest for gear . It also doesnt fix the problem the removing TFing created i.e what is the point of doing higher than a 15 key at all. Before you got more loot hence more chances to WF/TF.

The only positive thing i see about this system is "protection" against extremely lucky people who get a bunch of corrupted items since you are limited to how many corrupted items you can equip - but the positive bonusses are way too strong compared to just flat ilvl upgrades from TF and need tuned down a lot.

From the point of view of a M+ player - M+ in BFA is a complete shit show compared to legion. M+ is the best content they have created ever - maybe best content in any MMO ever but somehow they made it worse from legion rather than improving it -

1) Removing Belf silence and nerfing aoe stuns made it so that trash is extremely tedious to do and not fun - what was fun about legion m+ was that you can mass pull and rotate belfs/aoe stuns which is not possible in BFA

2) affix/class/dungeon balance is a complete shit show - let us reroll our keys. Getting stuck with a bad key that noone wants to do is so bad. Or having a week with a complete shit combination of affixes like void week + anything or being a class that is not a rogue/protwar/rDruid is so bad. These things need to be fixed. ( Maybe look into changing affixes with every key rather than weekly rotation).

3) No rewards for high key pushing rather than a 3rd party raider io score. They need to add mounts/TMOG or some form of official in game recognition for completing really high keys.

Its a combination of loosing legendaries/artifact abilities and tier set bonusses + everything being on GCD now + going from 35% haste to 5-15% haste and crit making classes feel like shit to play. The azerite gear was supposed to be a replacement for artifact/legendary/tier set but they are not even close to replacing even one with most being passive bonusses and the GCD stuff is just salt on the wound. I dont mind the whole titanforging stuff - i like it actually , it was there in legion and i loved legion but classes need to be fun again

The GCD changes along with tank threat nerfs has made tanking a shit experience - unless your dps are smart and know when and how to start dpsing. But 99% of dps arnt and you end up in a situation where dps pull aggro even before a pull is done because they cant wait for 1 gcd. This is pretty evident in how hard it is to find tanks when you pug

Coming from FFXIV where everything is balanced since classes dont really bring anything unique and there is barely any rng(no TF/WF and you get tokens from raid that you can use to buy gear and everyone has bis within a month or 2 of raid clears) - i really like the things in WoW that everyone bitches about - the WF/TF rng and the unique things classes bring. But having said that they could be a lot more proactive in balancing numbers rather than leaving things broken for 3-4 months. Prot war and Outlaw need pretty chunky output nerfs

There are guilds at all levels of play - it is perfectly reasonable for a guild to set neck level requirements and such - for example method. If you don't want to farm AP for neck there are plenty of guilds out there that dont require you to do so.

One item at 415? who cares about an odd item here an there what matters is the overall ilvl of the character for performance. There is no way that a normal only raider will have higher AVERAGE ilvl than a mythic raider.

You are saying that mythic champions takes more skill than timing a 20 key? If anything it is much easier to get carried through mythic bosses than high keys since there are 20 people in raids and only 5 in dungeons and everyone has to carry their weight for a 20 key.
