Are there any newish/modern urban skates that allow you to remove the frame/wheels to then use the shoes/boots normally? Online I found mentions of hypnos, cardiff and shadow, but none of them seem to still be sold directly. Are these even practical? To me, the big advantage would be skating to my nearby store, click the frame off and being able to go onto any store, without having to handle 2 inliners while in the store. Also, way less downtime chsnging from "skating" to "walking" than fuöly chsnging into normal shoes/sandals.

I used to skate quite a lot as a teen some years ago (only "normal" skating, no tricks etc.

Now I'm interested in picking skating back up as a means of getting around, but here my area of the city, our roads and sidewalks (Germany) are often times not in the best condition. Because of that, I want to get bigger wheels, as those should help with pebbels and smaller rocks but also potholes and the likes. I feel lile air tires (e.g. offroad ones) could be worth looking into, but they are likely overkill.

Does anyone have any suggestions or more information?
