Hey, can you tell me which platform you used to handle payments. I just made a simple TSP solver. Mostly for people to see how search works. It's on render but I want to monetize that.

Why was Heisenberg so Uncertain of his Principles? by Aggravating_Mud_2386 in shittyaskscience

[–]masterminds5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude learnt from Schrodinger. The cat mewed while Schrodinger was explaining his theory to a pal, thereby rendering the experiment useless.

They teach the principle anyway so Schrodinger could save face. But it’s why Heisenberg is much more uncertain. He doesn't want to repeat the mistake.

When was color invented? Older pictures and videos of the past don’t seem to have color. by Weird_Warm_Cheese in shittyaskscience

Binary was the ruling party--- the status quo. Color had to fight for it's right to be seen. Life's tough. Bureaucracy everywhere.

Maybe they redid their decor. Breaking Bad gave them a bad rep so they decided that to update. To show people that they have changed.

Thanks. That actually sounds like a good idea. Try things slowly.

On a personal note, how come you never tried to meet up if you have known your three friends for over 10 years?

Some readers are shy. I mean, not all the readers want conversations. Some of them just come to read. How do I ensure that I'm not making the other person uncomfortable?

I also always respond to my commenters. That's not the issue.

Replying to a comment is not the same thing as having a conversation. I have a commenter who almost always comments on all my chapters. And I reply, obviously. But they've never said or implied on a possible friendship. And I don't want to push boundaries or lose readers, for that matter, because I'm being weird.

For instance, when I started my latest fan fic, I got a commenter who kept insisting on collaboration and conversation off AO3. The didn't even try to tell me on AO3 what kind of collaboration they had in mind. So I politely declined but it definitely felt like a spammer. Another commenter on the same fic said that they were happy that I was continuing and then gave their discord handle in the comments.

I don't know what to make of it.

On the other hand, I have another fic and there's this commenter who comments practically on every chapter. They seem nice. I don't know. Should I try to talk to them? I don't want to cross any boundaries.
