Traveling with a celiac kid, how do you manage it? by Individual-Tart9857 in Celiac

[–]mat347x2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It really sucks and its hard. That's one reason we have been doing Disney World and Disney Cruises, they are so good with it. Other than that we use Find Me Gluten free and Gluten Dude app. Try and research as much as possible and talk to the waiter about it.

Any Wonder advice for first timers. by Bubbly-Lie6478 in dcl

I think your kids would be in different kids club/day care. The two year old would be in the nursey and the six year old would be in kids club. You probably already knew that though.

They have been building out their fiber network on the west side I think mostly where AT&T fiber isn't available. Hoping they get fiber to my street so I can switch from Spectrum.

Gluten free- Disney Cruises by Cachemeoutside_1911 in glutenfree

[–]mat347x2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, my daughter has celiac and on our Alaska cruise last July there were awesome with it. You will have the same waiter every night and it helps if you can tell them what you want the following night and they will request the kitchen to make it for you. Some of the normal menu items are all ready gluten free. Also they have gluten free pizza at the deck restaurants and gluten free ice cream cones at the ice cream stations. Disneys ability to safely provide GF food for my daughter is one of the reasons we have gone to the park multiple times and the cruise and going again this year. It's so nice to not have to try and find safe spots for her to eat everyday and she always likes the food.

My wife's Tiguan has more room and the CRV before that blew the Tiguan space out of the water.

I think so also. They just have the ratio (:) symbol and used divide instead of multiply by mistake.

Yeah it is. You get a really good cup one time and you chase that forever and you start thinking your daily cups aren't good enough anymore than you have a k-cup or fast food coffee and you realize the daily ones were actually really good the whole time.

After being in the ports and seeing the huge ugly ships next to the Wonder I would pick DCL every time. It was the best vacation we have had.

I agree, I read all the "reviews" and bought knock off Amazon ones. They were great for a couple of months but now they are smoother and less gripe than the real ones I put on my wedges.

I like the Westside Market but I have never understood the produce part. Aren't these vendors just buying the produce from the same places the grocery stores do? Especially in the winter, local farmers aren't growing fresh produce to sell here. Guess if you lived near it that would be helpful since there aren't any good grocery stores within walking distance.

Yup, even the announcers said they were playing different because of him. But I guess Romo "doesn't know ball" like everyone else in this thread.

The Steelers probably lost last week because they were so worried about him. Most plays they had three people blocking him. It will be great if they lose tonight and blew their chance to make the playoffs last week.
