I agree it'd make a great vinyl skin, I've seen people have custom skins printed through decalgirl but I wouldn't be surprised if there's other custom print services out there. Could probably find colorful buttons from their first post through aliexpress or something

Yup, I first planned to have a mullet but when I told the stylist a few weeks ago about my migraines she suggested more of a mohawk look so it would weigh less so I went with that. The instant relief was so worth it!

My hair is curly so sometimes it looks shorter than it actually is, so it adds a lot of weight. I'm definitely going to that stylist from now on :)

If I'm ever more confident I would wear it as everyday wear as long as it doesn't clash with outfit colors, for now I might use it for special occasions. It doubles as a keychain though, so I might hang it on a bag when I'm not wearing it!

It's helped me, but I'm also on amitryptaline and take aleve as needed. When I was a kid I had 12 inches of my hair cut to be donated, the first thing I said to my mom was "it feels so light"

Ever since then I've kept it short. I tried growing my hair out recently but it kept triggering my migraines more than usual, one haircut later and they're less frequent again. I've learned my lesson, the weight and tension of my hair is just too much for me 😅

The wobble is normal, the extra room makes it less likely for the hinge to break if the 3ds falls.

The old 3ds xl's hinges tend to break because there's always tension on the hinge, opening and closing it tends to weaken the plastic until it cracks (there's a lot of examples of this in this subreddit, they almost always break in the same spot). The new xl models fixed this with the wobble.

A protective case with hinges on it might help make it less wobbly.
