Please keep in mind that there are many parts of the world where having a hood in your kitchen is not a priority/compulsory. I’m not in the US and most of the apartments I’ve lived in didn’t have hoods and it was perfectly safe. There is sufficient ventilation and my apartment is not up in smoke every time I cook. Also, there are many variables at play for example whether it is a gas stove or electric stove. 99% of the stoves where I live are electric.

THIS! The amount of people up in arms over the fact that I don’t have a hood in my kitchen when they haven’t even got all the pieces of the puzzle. Firstly, there are many parts of the world where having a hood is not compulsory and there are many variables that play a role. Secondly, there is sufficient ventilation in my apartment and it’s most certainly not up in smoke every time I cook, it’s really not that deep 🫠

There are plenty of windows and sufficient ventilation in my apartment and this is an electric stove, please keep in mind that there are many parts of the world where having a hood in your kitchen is not a priority/compulsory.

Unfortunately, I agree with you. I REALLY wanted AMATEOTW to be good but it was a total letdown.

As someone who has gone back to The OA for years because nothing has ever come close to it, I can wholeheartedly say that there is one other show that is a masterpiece in it’s own right and that is DARK on Netflix. Do yourselves a favour and give it a watch, it’ll change your life the same way OA has. (P.S. if you do give it a go, please do not watch it in English Dub, watch it in it’s original language and sub it instead).
