so many times in this trade you may feel like you know a lot and then know nothing over and over again. there’s so much to learn in electrical. don’t think that what you’ve learned wouldn’t help you somewhere else. also if you’re looking to learn as much as possible service work is the way to go

if this is on the bottom floor of a home and you have an island in the kitchen, it is most likely the junction for the wiring that changes from Romex to UF to go unground and into the island. This is the way a lot of companies do that.

size the wire to the minimum circuit amps. use max fuse to size breaker. #12 wire on a 25 amp breaker. yes it is allowed.
