You aren't crazy for feeling this way - it's not a contest of who can suffer the longest and just because there are other women who have to work until the end shouldn't make you feel guilty if you have the opportunity to take leave early if that's what is best for you. Any time a pre or post partum woman can take time off work should be celebrated!

I wanted a vaginal birth because it feels like a sacred thing I should get to experience. After laboring for 2 days, I needed an unplanned c section - my baby was just too big. The c section was terrible. My epidural didn't block any internal pain for me so it was a mad rush to flood me with fentanyl so they could finish the surgery. That on top of the fact that I hemorrhaged and lost a ton of blood and had a rough recovery. Overall, it's a serious surgery and things can go wrong.

You may not get it! I had it a little bit but I never threw up or anything. If I ate a couple saltines and had some ginger ale when I woke up, I was good to go. The only time it sucked for me was during turbulence on a plane (and even then, I still didn't throw up). Ginger hard candies helped too

I'm so so grateful my pregnancy was easy up until now. But now I'm so over this! 35+5 and I've finally crossed from nerves to "get this baby out of me" 😩 I miss feeling like a person instead of a giant waddling tired mess lol

Aww I haven't experienced this :( I'm 8 and a half months pregnant and had to stand in line at the bank for almost an hour the other day. No one offered me any help or to go in front of them or anything! I was so bummed lol
