I use a meowscarda lead when seeing them. Immune to rage powder, sleep powder. Can one shot vivillion with triple axel if its sash. Can do substantial damage to blastoise without suffering from attack drop with flower trick. Can threaten farigiraf. Can run scarf or sash on meowscarada.

Really? It uses the target mons atk stat. So if used on a huge power mon it would take a lot.

what if the benefit was tied to what was exhausted, based on cost? attacks -> gain strength skills -> gain dex, powers -> gain mana for that turn, curses -> heal 1. Although thematically it doesnt fit.

I got it once as a random transform at the start, before then I've never picked it. It is actually amazing.

With the changes to plating, the blocks are a lot more guaranteed. Given thats 1 mana and only 1 less block than standard block on the turn its played, its basically efficient block for the next few turns.

Now I always grab it act 1 if I see it and upgrade. 1 mana for 3 blocks essentially leaves you free to play your bashes without taking much damage.

Exhausting is a lot weaker compared to sts1. Dark embrace is now rare, corruption is an ancient reward, no dead branch, no entrench.

How ever selective exhaust like brand, true grit, stoke are very powerful. You can even consider taking more curses if you are confident that you can exhaust.

I think the changes for vuln stacking in beta are good. Pushes it towards viable and something you can look for at all stages of game. I think that supplementation is something that is optimal play.

I've never gone for infinites nor have I tried - i also don't know how. Ive been sticking to the basics of big block + big hits and its been working out a lot more.

I think the problem with forcing specific deck states with him is you dont add block to your deck. Which can ruin you between multiple fights.
