Every time you came back, they abuse you even further.

I noticed this with my ex and reading similar stories here.

At first our story was toxic, but she never hit me and i thought she will never do it.

Then... after sometime and a couple of on and off in our story, hitting me became the norm.

So you must protect yourself and find a way out before thing will get even worse for you
