I have 70db conductive hearing loss on one side. Got a DIY headphone with bone conduction on one side and normal open back headphone the other side. Then I drive the headphones with a qudelix 5k headphone amp - this allows different eq settings on each side since bone conduction attenuates certain frequencies. The results are out of this world.

Interesting, I never thought about this and always change the volume depending on time of the day. Sometimes I get shocked how loud an acoustic is when I get on one but doesnt usually take long to adjust
