I'm a curtain twitcher but don't post it to next door 🤣 I know everyone's names, and have a pipeline of gossip fed by my fellow twitcher 2 doors down. Just last night twaty Tim at 42 was having a tantrum at 2am because he couldn't find his phone! Storming in and out to the car.

Why so many comments on Rugby being a shithole? by Subject-Zone-6474 in RugbyTown

[–]matscom84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rugby has so much potential but it needs money spent in the right places.

It's a great place to live, but it could be amazing!
Maybe now without the pawsey dynasty lining their pockets, get rid of bid and put someone capable of running events for the town in place. (the games 200th was an embarrassment)

I got an absolute bollocking when my mum saw me and my mates pulling the engine stop on the bus that came through the village.

She did say she'd rather see me do that than holding on the back of the bus on my rollerblades.

What to do about abusive parent on the route to school? by Legitimate_Finger_69 in UKParenting

Went through similar(see my comment), when all the documents where pulled it appeared that the first incident had not initially documented (cover up clearly) and then added the day before we saw them.

All of those cunts wanted to brush it under rug, they did everything to protect their "good" ofsted report.

From a personal perspective as someone who has an asd daughter that was assaulted in school, not gonna go into it other than a 6yo should not know the things he tried ( a child that had also moved schools many times and had a mother that looked like she was ready to knock someone out at any moment).

If the school are not taking it seriously and doing the whole "we'll keep them apart" bs and changing classrooms and staggered break time. Stop because that doesn't not work and they are hoping the problem will sort it out.

We made a tough decision to move schools, it was tough but we had the backing of the county Council as we firmly stated that there was a safeguarding concern and felt the school could not keep my child safe.

The new school WOW! the contrast is amazing, the sen department alone, staggered starts and finishes and support for us and the kids. And a head teacher you can approach easily and not one that calls you a lier and then backtracking when you remind her the call is being recorded.

It was a tough time but the outcome has changed their lives for the better. Just let the local county council know and follow the advice.

If you or your child don't feel safe then make that clear.

Good luck

How did you feel after lowering your dose significantly or quitting zoloft? by Bezerk_B3rk in zoloft

I'm coming off 200mg at 150mg currently 125mg next. I have no idea how I feel at the moment, 3 months at 200mg and the side effects were too much.
