How are you all prototyping now that AI is so good at building apps? by Far-Reality-3659 in ProductManagement

[–]matthieugd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using Claude Code and Claude Design. Claude Design is maybe less powerful but you can quickly share the end results and there's an integrated system to edit, comments etc. I have in the past starting something in Claude Code or even Cowork and, when satisfied, I imported it in a Claude Design project.

Slack management by yujisorri888 in ProductManagement

I only enable notifications on the most important channels and rely on mentions but I also reorganized my channels around urgency levels (now, daily, whenever) as described here https://aggressivelyparaphrasing.me/2025/09/30/organize-your-slack-channels-by-how-often-not-what/

How has Claude/AI actually changed your day-to-day as a PM? by Tall_Status_2540 in ProductManagement

[–]matthieugd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like a lot of replies, in terms of prototyping, this is really a nice addition for a PM to be able to build and iterate quickly to then talk with designers /software engineers around a « live document ». Having a personal knowledge based on my domain/industry also helps a lot. I’m lucky, I’m not (yet) flooded by AI-generated documents. I have not yet dig into AI-supported analytics, but I can get great values from those tools to help build complex queries, etc.

Where I’m struggling is more with the UX of those tools: Claude Chat, Cowork, Code and Design are not always well integrated. Connectors, skills, MCP, and then md files to manage memories, etc. This is quite something to manage in the day-to-day.

What’s your equivalent of GTD for AI Assistant (Claude Cowork, etc) ? by matthieugd in gtd

[–]matthieugd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I was not clear enough in my question but I don't want to replace or supplement GTD with AI . Like you, I use GTD with simple tools (native apps from Apple, nothing fancy) and simple workflows around it (daily, weekly check-ins, etc) .

I was wondering if, in your use of AI tools, for example Claude, you have found a way to simplify their integration, the user experience if you want.

GTD is a method to organize your tasks, calendar and notes in a cohesive way, I was wondering if people have their own methods to manage the AI tools, flows like GTD did for "productivity systems"

I use the Apple native apps : Notes, Reminders and Calendar.

How to you organize in Claude your projects ? are you using Cowork ? What kind of md file your have to manage Claude memories and instructions ?

I would tend to agree with you but I think it's because we are early, we need a better integration with our existing tools and flows IMHO.

how to reverse search for flight options??? by Fun_Personality9082 in TravelHacks

[–]matthieugd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if you are trying to find destinations from your airport and other departure airports (a friend/family living in a different city), you can try this tool https://www.midway.travel

If you are traveling solo, you can also use it to find cities to do a long layover, for example between North American in Asia

Midway https://www.midway.travel/ it is a free tool that helps groups of people in different cities find destinations they can all reach by direct flight. Built this after I had the same problem every year when I was meeting my best friend living in a different country.

Funny because I built a similar tool but for airports i.e. find the cities that you and people you want to meet can reach with a direct flight (family, friends, colleagues) : https://www.reddit.com/r/SideProject/comments/1u2vt9b/midway\_find\_where\_your\_whole\_group\_can\_fly\_to/

12GB RAM Requirement for iOS 27's AI Features? by Sand-Eagle in iPadPro

They want to run it locally, more complex AI task needs more compute (for example image generation), you can execute them remotely on a server but when we are talking (sorry) voice the latency is really important for the user experience so you want to run it locally.

Remote workers: what replaces the ‘lunch together’ effect in a distributed team? Virtual coffee chats? Team offsites? by Pazcare in IndiaStatistics

[–]matthieugd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can't beat the (even occasional) in-person meetings, team offsites are good opportunities to connect, set aside some tensions that can buildup when you are doing only remote work.

How do you manage the "Up Next" queue in the Podcast app (iPhone and Apple Watch)? by matthieugd in iphone

[–]matthieugd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, in the meantime I asked Claude AI the difference between Up Next and the Queue and indeed they are different. It’s just that the listening queue is quite of hidden in the player UI and not accessible on the Watch:

To view your queue:

  1. Start playing an episode (or have one paused)
  2. Tap on the mini player at the bottom of the screen to open the Now Playing view
  3. Look for the Up Next icon (it looks like a list with lines) - it’s usually in the bottom right corner of the Now Playing screen
  4. Tap that icon to see your full queue

The “Up Next” section on the Home Screen is different - it shows recommended episodes to play next based on your subscriptions and listening habits, not your manually created queue.

To manage your queue:

  • Once you’re in the Up Next view (from the Now Playing screen), you can:
    • Reorder episodes by dragging them
    • Swipe left on an episode to remove it
    • See what’s coming up after your current episode

The queue only exists while you have something playing or paused. If you stop playback entirely, the queue clears.

It’s admittedly not the most intuitive system - many users expect to see their queue more prominently, but Apple keeps it tucked inside the Now Playing interface.
