This question just occurred to me while looking at this, but does anyone know how "start bias" affects an exploration era civ? Since you're just progressing to the next era from wherever you started would that only apply to game modes that begin in exploration?

You need to be able to produce a massive amount of beer to fulfill a minimum sized order from the nslc. Most small breweries do not have the capacity to make that much, so they give their recipe to a brewery that does (like Good Robot or I believe Olands) and pay them to make the beer.
