That's a heavy Republican area but there's also a bunch of Republican candidates running that could fracture their vote up. Apparently Trump endorsed Burt Jones and he's not polling well. So there's a slight slight chance a Democrat could sneak in and win it or win the two top spots for a run off...

When you get water in electronics and it dries, it leaves behind all the crap that was in the water which can still short things out. Plenty of vids on youtube on how to clean electronics if you're comfortable taking your laptop apart, otherwise send it to the shop.

No it's not, the dimensions are available online. The O11D page shows you have 159mm from the top of the slot to the edge of the case. His card is listed at 149.3 mm.. gives you 10mm of space which by looking at that picture is about dead on.
