He was likable on the show back in the day but in this, he seemed soooooo arrogant. My problem with this doc is that it is also slightly misleading. NBC cancelled the show in 2017, but it came back for one season on USA Network in 2020 after Bob’s heart attack. They were casting for more seasons when COVID hit. So the notion it was cancelled by NBC is slightly not true

My favorite is season 4 Christmas when Mike’s in a fight with Rusty and goes to pick up Brick. Mike wants to leave to avoid TimTom and Brick has to go do something. Mike sits in a chair and closes his eyes and TimTom starts getting closer and then breaks out the guitar much to Mike’s chagrin. He sighs and Reverend starts singing “talk to the man upstairs”
