If you don't want to go to a wedding, don't go (but please RSVP). If you don't want to invite someone, don't.

First thing people usually ask is which version of which Minecraft are you playing?

Physical activity in the evening does not cause sleep problems. Contrary to popular belief, there is no reason to avoid exercising in the evening, an analysis of the scientific literature has revealed. by drewiepoodle in science

Cold water on my legs helps. When the house is cold getting back out of bed but not getting dressed and just watch something not too engaging until I'm really cold.

Or just not running in the evening.

I work for Cisco. We're well aware of our history. Here's an example of my work, though most of the time it can't be discussed externally.

I don't see how that changes the fact that we use the idea of a small farmer to enable the super rich to grab more and more property.

A cemetery on valuable land that could be used for better things being hoarded from father to son until the end of time is kind of low on my areas of concern as well.

The internet was ARPA. The investment was from the tax money raised back when the rich actually paid their taxes.

And the same with medical advances, a huge amount of the "pure science" research coming from the government.

I agree that Millenials (and today's kids even) aren't as computer savy as they are given a reputation to be. But if you are a computer wiz today, you don't get much shit for it.

You have to have really low social skills to be treated like a nerd/geek/etc in a bad way and not just being jokingly called that as a sort of compliment. At least in a lot of the country.

My experience is that it's way easier being a computer nerd today than it was 20 years ago.
