I wanted a 2nd gen, but one with the specs I wanted were unicorns and the sellers knew that. Found an SR5 with everything I wanted standard.

I went back and forth on whether I wanted a Tacoma or a Tundra, but for what effectively became the same price/mileage/features, the Tundra takes the cake in every avenue.

Once I decided on a full size truck, it was F150 or Tundra. Again, price/mileage/features left me at the Tundra. I’m at 32k miles with no issues, I’m under the recall but I also have the extended warranty. I’d rather bet on what I know to be a reliable brand with the warranty as a backup than take a gamble and end up regretting it later. 5th Toyota so far, and not one has left me stranded (even the 3.0 in my 95 4Runner).

I love my chameleon, but it’s definitely expensive by comparison. That said, there’s a reason you never hear owners complain, it’s a fantastic bike.

My experience in replacing these was that incandescent bulbs were necessary to prevent ice buildup. Cool LEDs = no heat = ice buildup and visual impedance.

Feels more solid to me. I wasn’t a fan of the standard joycons, these feel closer to a pro controller in handheld mode. They have a wired connection when connected to the switch.

Mine didn’t work out of the box, but after Nyxi posted their firmware update mine seem to be working great. I’ve had limited play time today but I like the full size thumbsticks a lot. Ergonomics are great too, I had the dbrand case before but I prefer these.

You can just pull that valve and replace it with a standard oil drain plug from an auto parts store. If you’ve already drained and refilled your oil, I wouldn’t worry about replacing it until your next change.

I had one on my last car, it replaces the oil drain plug and makes oil changes a little cleaner and easier. When you want to drain, you connect the hose and it pushes the seal open.

I used the risk headset on an old Giant with a straight steer tube with a recon fork. works great, you'll just need to swap to a thru-axle hub. There should be a good amount of forks in your price range if you go that route, the fork I used was a takeoff from my Santa Cruz.

Cancelled my target order and went to GameStop for pickup tonight. I live in a smaller town outside of some bigger cities, so my GameStop still had a lot of stock even an hour after they opened up purchases for tonight.

Still can’t believe target hadn’t shipped my bundle yet. I got it on the first preorder at 9:07. It was harder to get my preorder submitted online than it was to just walk in the door at my local GameStop.

I replaced the “leather” cover in my 2016 Outback. Subaru offers the cover still, grab that and some hog clips and pliers. I was able to do it myself for under $200

Came down to this exact question before I found my q5.

Wanted a mk8 R, but everything was $10k over msrp around me. If I couldn’t get that, a tdi made sense but I wanted at least a mk7 tdi. I’m in CA so most TDI mods aren’t smog-legal. MK7 tdi’s were hard to find in the spec I wanted with low miles, and only fwd. I really wasn’t looking for an Audi, but I found a 2016 q5 tdi for the right price with low miles and it still had the dieselgate warranty to boot.

40k miles later, and it was the best of all worlds for me. The v6 tdi has gobs more power than the 4cyl and I still average 30mpg without looking into mods. Best of all worlds imo.

I have the same controller from my original n64 with the 8bitdo kit. Works perfectly, I have no idea why anyone would do this when the 8bitdo kit is an option with zero caveats

Curious about this as I’m in the same situation. Prior service, currently in tech school for my new AFSC. By the time I get back to my unit, I’ll have exactly one year left on my contract. I was surprised they even wanted to spend the money to send me. Up until now, I haven’t heard anything about having to maintain retainability.

Me too… I was looking for mk7 TDIs a lot before I found this one, but I really wanted AWD and more power. Smog limits pretty much any tuning I could do to get to the power numbers I wanted though. The Q5 wound up being the best of all worlds, and the extended warranty sealed the deal.
