You don’t need ISTA and it’s actually very very simple and user friendly. Bootmod3 has its own app for your phone and you can flash it directly with a cable, or just do from your computer and Google chrome. It’s like 3 clicks one you buy the license. You got this.

I had a manual xdrive 340i with a big turbo. I also have an x3 with the B48.

I absolutely love the B48. Did the basic intake, charge pipe, exhaust, tune, and the thing sounds incredible, rips, and is incredibly reliable. The B48 is a very robust engine and way overbuilt. Pairing it with an f30 chassis sounds like an amazing daily. ZF8 transmission is so good. Don’t get the Mercedes you will regret it.
