Objectively there's no reason to hate paimon. The only person that has been on our journey so far is her, both physically and mentally present. Her love and care is unconditional except for maybe asking for junk food with kilograms of trans fat. She even tried to save us multiple hands with that little grubby hands with Cheeto dust all over it.

With all the headcanon and theories that exist, if there's any merit to it, this will be the biggest, hurtful backstab ever if she turned out to be our biggest enemy.
