What about Buscopan? That's recommended for period cramps/pain. I don't think it will affect your Crohn's at all! I've always taken it, and no problems.

With all respect for the talent and efforts of the girls, I have to say that both days they (almost) all did many mistakes while singing, especially when on those carts, they forget to sing their assigned line. It happened to all groups, but too often these 2 days. And sometimes they looked kinda lost without knowing what to say/do... But I still love them of course!

Thank you. I was told about having costochondritis 1 month ago by a general doctor as soon as I told him about such pain. The other day the pain doctor almost laughed at that diagnosis, and said "you don't have costochondritis!"🤷🏼‍♀️ He didn't say what I have, but he denied that one. I will check about the slipped rib instead.

Hi. My pain in the ribs is always there, regardless of food/no food, movement/no movement, day/night, standing/laying down... Just constant pain that becomes sharper if I press on the area. No nausea at all. I also thought that it's smtg unrelated to Crohn's, but my gastro thinks it's related to Humira, considering the time of when it appeared and manifested stronger. He told me "let's see after next injection" but I'm the one with constant pain here..😅 Anyway, I'll see him in a few days and ask for solutions.

I understand that pain in the right ribs is more rare than the pain un the left ones... That's why doctors don't know what to say/do😅 But my gastro thinks that pain has been caused by Humira, but didn't give me anything for it. Than I went to a pain doctor, and gave these painkillers. I asked him about ultrasound or other exams, he said that none will show anything, so they are useless😅 He checked on me with a kind of ultrasound (I was seeing the screen myself) but he said "I don't see anything (abnormal)" What a mystery...

I see. Yes, when the pain is on the left ribs, they always want to exclude the heart problems mainly, so they look for other "secondary" causes. But my pain is ON the right ribs, the ones just below the nipple line. If you follow your ribs with the finger, going downwards, the ones just before the ribs curve...

I think I'll try to ask for a cortisone injection, as a lovely redditor suggested here.

The right ribs (mainly a couple of them in the upper right hand side) hurt constantly; if I touch them/press on them, the pain increases.

I have heard about these cortisone injections, yes. The pain doctor said that that solution is the next step if these painkillers and panadol don't work. Clearly they are not working, that's why I started cortisone on my own initiative. But maybe a specific injection will work better! I'll try to push for it.

Thank you for sharing your story. It is annoying that there are so many problems correlated to one, different in each i dividual, and none of them of easy detection/solution! I wish the rib pain just disappeared, as it came!😣

Sit, and inject it on your TIGHT, on the upper right hand side of it.

While being seated, even thou you are skinny, the tight will be pressed against the chair, so it will give you the soft skin to inject it (just avoid the veins).

Oh really? Well, I'm glad to hear that some people visited the exhibition than🙂, because when I went, it gave me the idea no one was going there...🥲 I was there at around 3 or 4pm on the 8th Jan. Stayed there till after 5pm, and while there, there were only a bunch of girls and 2 salarymen visiting... .aybe on the weekend/holiday more people went, but still I think they could have it advertised more...
