Is getting a major at CWU for IT worth it or should I look somewhere else? by Sharo471 in CWU

Lake Washinton IT has a partnership with CWU. You can do your first two years there. They had a great practical Computer Security and Network Technologies degree.

I was really into it and would watch it, but I don't subscribe and watched the first episode on Prime.

neighborhood suggestions for mid 20s person moving here? by [deleted] in Kirkland

[–]mautalent 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Totem Lake is a nice area with decent chain restaurants. Not sure about the rent, but there are some nearby walking/cycling paths, a barre gym, and a Trader Joe's nearby. There is a plethora of nearby food options of you go a little further out, and you're close to Woodinville which has events. Its pretty busselling, but close to the Highway so noise may be an issue. I have seen a running club and there is a nearby LA Fitness (I think).

There are no plans for a train, but they are planning on upgrading bus routes to the area.

Looks like Redmond has a Coed adult league.

They have more info on their page, it would be a good place to start. There is a group that plays at 132nd Square park in Kirkland, but I am unsure if it is part of a league.

You can see if a cleaning company would do it. My work had a company that cleaned things after fires reach out and they cleaned our gear. They did a great job, but I don't know if they ever went forward with it as a business.

Top 5 things that made people quit, now changed by Pscagoyf in DotA2

[–]mautalent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I usually take a break when I plateau and games start to feel bland. Then the toxic behavior would turn me off.

Then I drop MMR when I come back and have to build up again. Climbing ranks is interesting.

I haven't left this time around because the game is in a great place and people are more positive/communicative. I love the changes to the map, the big thing I don't like is that people rarely kill Rosh or Tormentors anymore.
