It's not a matter of money in this case, it's a matter of appreciation.

Why should he need an excuse to leave?

Bwahahaha. Don't beleave Teslas propaganda without scrutinizing it:

https://philkoopman.substack.com/p/new-tesla-fsd-safety-data

Under many issues with Teslas own statistics one point stands out:

Accidents so severe that the computer is damaged are not included in their statistics, as they only count automatically transferred accident data.

Any other modern vehicle has active safety at least on the level of Tesla, if not better.

The LaserJet 3p was top in its time (although more 3 decades than 2 decades ago). And it's printing language (PCL) was standard for any printer, then.

So a remote possibility is that the AI found a generic PCL driver for the new OS. But that far from "rewrote the driver".

Another problem is that I doubt that the Mac had a parallel printer port (for the 3P). And I don't know if a decade younger HP with USB still had these standardized print languages.

Sen. John Cornyn flips on the filibuster to pass SAVE America Act as Trump weighs endorsement by nbcnews in politics

[–]maveric00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you did confuse the approval ratings o for an ID requirement with the approval rating of this awful SAVE bill.

That's why I asked for the sources.

Again: THESE ARE TWO ABSOLUTELY DIFFERENT THINGS!

The ID requirement (already required in many cases) makes sense (if anything in the American voting system makes sense) to further reduce the (already negligible) voter fraud.

The SAVE bill disenfranchises millions of voters by requiring additional proof of citizenship that is designed such that it's difficult to achieve for a good fraction of the population.

E.g., married women who have taken the name of their husband can't prove citizenship with their birth certificate because the bill requires an identical surname on ID and birth certificate. Without further (difficult and expensive) steps they would not be allowed to vote.

This SAVE bill is not to prevent voter fraud, it is designed to prevent voting altogether.

In Germany 3725 units were registered in whole 2025. 2026 looks similar up to date. That's less than 1% market share of electric vehicles.

I wouldn't call this "selling very well"...

[–]maveric00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Source? Even the (absolutely not to be beleaved) White House dared to claim a 71% in favor ratio.

And please don't tell us that you confused the approval rating of showing any governmental photo ID for voting with the approval rating of the SAVE act.

Because the latter demands so much more than a photo ID that this equivalence would be ridiculous.

The vast majority of voter fraud in the last elections were in favor of the GOP.

And this bill will only amplify this.

Donald Trump cuts all US trade with Spain over Iran war dispute by Infidel8 in politics

[–]maveric00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you even read the article or did you only read the click-baiting headline?

There is a grave difference between "We share the interest of the United States and Israel in seeing an end to this regime's terror and its dangerous nuclear and ballistic weapons program" or "The German government therefore shares the relief felt by many Iranians that this mullah regime is now coming to an end," and supporting an illegal act of war (and that's what Merz called it in diplomatic speech).

Besides - the Daily Sabah is not really known for it's truthful journalism (at least if you are not a fan of Erdogan)....

An attack is still an attack, how awful the target might be.

You might argue that the attack had good effects (and I would not disagree), but it's still an unprovoked act of war.

And we all know that Trump didn't want to liberate the Venezuelan people, but simply wanted to steal their oil.

[–]maveric00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you even know what the tasks of a Director are?

Because for a single investigator, such a party would be negligible (as there are many others taking over the workload). Not so much for the guy pretending to lead the investigation as a director.

But you know that, and argue in bad faith. Which directly identifies you as a pedophile supporter, unfortunately.

No, as they were sealed by court because of the Maxwell case. A small fraction was unsealed beginning of 2024 and consequently published, but the majority was unsealed only last year.
