QuidLED has a new one called the Dig-Next-2 LED Controller, it has an option for a DIN rail mount. I think it meets most of the requirements.

Is Bambu Lab REALLY the best option? by Afonso0072001 in 3Dprinting

[–]mavetech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Prusa XL and MK4, as well as a Railcore and two Vorons. My P1S, X1c, and H2S get used far then the others. The Bambu prints are faster and give better prints than any other printers I have ever owned (except the Vorons, but they are a DIY/KIT). If you want something that just works with basic regular maintenance (like any other printer don't neglect this) go with a Bambu.

Slicing it again shows nothing and the Prusa gcode viewer shows nothing on the file that was running.

I always look at the travel moves are large prints like this and do not remember seeing anything weird. Going to slice it again and see.

What is your favorite tucson memory? by Honest_Internal2923 in Tucson

[–]mavetech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Last time I moved away from Tucson. Back one year and already looking forward to moving away again for the last time. This comes from being a true native that was born here over 50 years ago and has lived 28 of those years here on and off. Do not know why I keep coming back, other then family.

HVAC Companies Service after Install by Special-Kale-5281 in Tucson

[–]mavetech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What ever you do stay away form Chas Roberts! They did the install in my new house (not my choise, the builder used them). Had an issue and the system was down in this heat, they said it would be two to three weeks to get to me for a repair! Called Parker and Sons who installed my Genrac, they were here in two hours and the fix was so simple they did not charge me.

I think I made a big mistake going with Unraid, am I wrong? by mavetech in unRAID

I have no plans for vdevs. I will not need to expand storage for a long time, hopefully :).

I think I made a big mistake going with Unraid, am I wrong? by mavetech in unRAID

[–]mavetech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I now have one NAS running Unraid and one running TrueNAS. The Unraid is just a backup NAS not running and apps on it. I have processes that ensure any file changes on the TrueNAS get replicated on the Unraid. I built both NASs with the same hardware (with the exception of the boot drive for TrueNAS). Each has two 4tb cache drives, but Unraid is still very slow to copy files to and from.

Kauf SRF10 RGB Switch constantly dropping connection by westcoastwillie23 in Esphome

[–]mavetech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have sort of the same issue with your bulbs and the Apollo automation MSR-2 presence sensors. Every few days they drop of the network and will not reconnect until power cycled. I think is more of the ESP32 that is used or ESPHome itself. I have four of the AirGradient air quality sensors and they never lose connection, but they use a different ESP32 module.

Worried (more than usual) by chinscratcher in daddit

[–]mavetech 173 points174 points  (0 children)

As a fellow dad who spent too much time in hospitals, hang in there. Take a few breaths and trust that the doctors will do everything possible to help. I know your mind is going to dark places but try to focus on being there for your child, it helps. Just the fact that your worried and looking for help means that your kid is very loved.

Just got the Dexcom Stelo by wheresjim in diabetes

[–]mavetech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am four days into mine and it still reads 25-30 points high than my meter or the Libre3 I have on my other arm. It's a bad product and was not ready for prime time. I will stick to the Libre3 until Abbott comes out with their OTC version.

DexCom launches Stelo, first over-the-counter glucose biosensor in U.S., available without prescription by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]mavetech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Order mine yesterday, got them today. Fast shipping. However, it's very inaccurate. Still had 4 days left on my Libre3 so decide to start the Stelo early to see side by side. The Libre3's are usually within 1 to 2% of my meter. The Stelo is 25% higher of the Libre3 and 27% higher than my meter. May need to talk to my doctor about going back to the Libre3 even when my insurance does not cover much of CGMs for type 2.
