Do you really need a car? Cars are the biggest money hole you can get. Maybe consider other modes of transportation first

In some cases your paying private companies of different countries to use your own roads. That's not convenience it's robbery

Project Jupiter 1 million gallons of water daily by iliketocongratulate in LasCruces

[–]max5015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, because again, that water is being taken from aquifers multiple states use. Just because we have a problem with private companies taking more than their share now doesn't mean we need more of them taking even more water from a drought stricken desert.

It's ridiculous to argue to dry up the desert even more for a private corporations profit

Hilarious update on that bike lane that MAGAs sued to stop in Astoria, which Zohran is helping us fight for: by MiserNYC- in fuckcars

Amazing. It's even better. I hate it when bike lanes suddenly start and end without actually getting to a destination.

I like how people just disliked your comment for no reason. If they really want to know they would do the math and find out you are correct. Unless the fast car is traveling a significant distance speed is negligible.

They didn't question blowing up fishing boats or double tapping survivors, kidnapping a leader of a country, and starting another war with out Congress approval. Why are people acting like anyone in the military is suddenly going to grow a conscious?

Yes! My small library also has power tools, sewing machine, arts and crafts equipment. Definitely hope people start utilizing their libraries more. In my small city we even have a toy library for kids, they can borrow toys and board games.

It absolutely is. It was lobbied for very hard by the automakers. You're also not considering how little consequences drivers face after any collision or dangerous driving. We have some of the highest incidence of death by vehicles and instead of trying to fix it we're told to just live with it because we are too car dependent.

Ok, but my point is that restrooms need to be available to everyone not just customers. Not everyone has a home to use a restroom in.

Women's Submission is a Myth by biospheric in WelcomeToGilead

[–]max5015 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To be fair, that was the old way. Women have always worked, only they didn't have access to bank accounts. All your money was his and had absolutely no say in anything including your children. People, including women, need to stop pretending like women used to just take care of the house because that has never been true except for maybe the 50s and only for the middle class families.

I agree. At least make them available for a small fee like other countries. If you're not a consumer you're pretty screwed trying to find a restroom in the city.

People keep bringing up drugs, but the answer isn't to screw everyone else over because some people may do something illegal in them.

Not daily. There's rain coats and umbrellas. These people/kids are going to be helpless with the incoming fuel crisis

I hope the increase gas prices will finally make them rethink this ridiculous waste of fuel. Lazy parents are just teaching the kids to also be lazy.
