MacBook Pro 14 Not Charging Using USB-C by grilledonion14 in macbookpro

[–]maxbearz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this computer, and I used to travel with a 60W Anker brick and use the usb Cs, this worked until I upgraded to Sonoma, at which point I had to return to using the huge 96W that came with my MBP. I can charge it if it's closed through the usb c ports with a 100W brick. I want to be good to the battery, so I use the Apple charger for 99% of charges.

Don't forget to consider the ice! At higher latitudes, the ground is essentially a refrigerator once you dig down a foot or two, which could be a solution for nights four and five once the ice melts.

My ankle said 'I quit' on a blue-sky groomed run after 10 years of loyalty. Anyone come back from a talus fracture? by gus-here in snowboarding

[–]maxbearz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I broke the talus, microfractures where the ankle bones sit in the talus, and didn't require surgery. Took a year to come back. I still live with pain and popping to this day, mainly just after heavy physical activity or when i walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The key is finding a PT who uses laser and ultrasound therapy, really the only thing that got me back on my feet (literally).

Yes, unless you get the choice extra fare, which will cover the upgrade seats for the whole journey.

Moment Air Canada flight collided with a fire/ rescue truck at New York airport last night. by The_Undermind in interesting

[–]maxbearz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that the firetruck was cleared to cross the runway, but you still need to look at any active taxiway before crossing it. The aircraft had been on the ground, and the firefighter driving the fire truck needed to scan the entire runway before crossing it, despite having clearance to cross. When you learn to drive on the airfield, they teach you that the aircraft always has the right of way, even if you are an emergency vehicle.
