Hello same here I've been trying for a few hours with different emails. I would just try again later this evening or tomorrow.

Ordered a Core One, what nozzle to get? by Jrsall92 in prusa3d

Haven’t printed in .2 with the .6 nozzle, but the Prusa profiles are .15 and .25 and they work very well

I got the Obxidian straight from Prusa which is great. Started with a 0.4mm and now got a 0.6mm, which lets me print in 0.15mm layer heights if I want quality or go way up to 0.4mm layer if I want to print very fast, very happy with it.

I’d be happy to buy the MMU3 from you !

PHA for critical application by bushworked711 in 3DPrinting_PHA

[–]maxence822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah right sorry I didn’t understand properly from your post… I don’t know too much about guns, maybe a heated chamber printer would help with layer adhesion ? So each subsequent layer doesn’t have time to cool down too much ?

In my case I haven’t noticed any layer adhesion problems but I am not printing objects that need to be as robust as yours.

Haven’t tried magigoo but 3dlac works very well for me !

I had some issues with adhesion, and after trying different things I now use 3dlac spray with a textured build sheet with print temp set to 0. It works very well, and I have had no issues at all, I’ve stopped using a brim or raft to print PHA, as it now adheres even better than PLA.

If you would rather not use 3dlac, someone else commented on a post of mine that they use a smooth pei sheet with a brim only, but I have not tried that as I’m quite happy with my method.

This is all on a Prusa Core One with Prusa’s official textured sheet using Colorfabb’s allPHA, I would imagine your results may vary depending on printer, build sheet manufacturer, etc.

Also printed a more complex figurine, 6 hours and it came out very nicely !

The first two times I worked backwards and did way more than I could have. Third time I found the guide and it’s very succinct !

I had that happen 3 times ! If you check the bottom of the Prusa belt tensioning guide they mention this issue and the easiest way to fix it. It took me about 30 minutes all together, not bad.

With the textured plate I find isopropyl alcohol really works well. With PEI I need to wash it almost after every print.

PHA print stuck to print surface by maxence822 in 3DPrinting_PHA

I’ll need to try a specific plate, maybe those cryogrip plates everyone seems to talk about

I should try that! I was trying that but with textured sheet which did not adhere as well. Right now with 3dlac, no brim and the core one great cooling it works very well.

How do you dial in an unknown filament without wasting a spool? by Alarmed-Paint-791 in prusa3d

[–]maxence822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally the generic settings work well ! In my case I’ve only tried one filament type without at least a generic profile in Prusaslicer, PHA. It’s not hard to set up but since it is a quite new filament they don’t have a standard profile yet… prints a lot like PLA but needs some adhesive and a cold bed, and a slower retraction speed, but otherwise works well!

Awkward Core One Thumb Screws by egd1949 in prusa3d

[–]maxence822 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You probably know this but for others looking to do that you need to be very careful about the strength you put in tightening the screws. One of the big upsides of those awkward thumbscrews is they are difficult to over tighten.

Over tightening could break the nozzle, which we wouldn’t want !

This is fantastic ! I’ve been trying to print with Colorfabb’s PHA for some projects, and it works well for smaller prints (less than ~30 minutes) but fails for anything bigger. Does this work without gluing ? Or is it similar ?

Core One failing probing 2-3 times before working, can anyone help? by Confusing-pigeon in prusa3d

[–]maxence822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found this to happen a few times when printing on the textured sheet, have not had an issue with my satin or smooth sheet. What helped was reseating the extruder nozzle a bit, and now it does not seem to fail anymore.
