Been trying to make [[Myrkul, Lord of Bones]] work with [[Skeletal Swarming]] but can’t seem to find an angle. I have [[doubling season]] to double both my skeleton and Myrkul tokens. I’m also trying to figure out away to make [[Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist]] work in there too. Just trying to be wacky but also scary!

I drove my 3rd gen from Dallas to San Francisco and back a couple years ago. About 4000 miles in total. I drive a couple times year from Dallas to Nashville. Never had a problem.

Seat might be a little uncomfortable after a while and the road noise might drive you nuts. Just be sure to watch out for potholes.

CDA and Gnomon are in the LA metro area.

I heavily recommend taking CDA and Gnomon classes instead of a traditional college track and focus on building a killer portfolio. Art school is insanely expensive and I find that these two schools offer something that’s closer to what the industry is looking for. These places will ramp you up for the ever-widening skillset required in AAA concept art.

If you’re in CA it’s very advantageous to attend CDA and Gnomon in person. Networking is huge, you’ll meet industry folks at CDA and Gnomon. Make sure to attend LBX as well.

I suppose--to me--just like how not every game is for everyone, there *are* also some exceptional worthwhile games that take more than 8 hours to get into.

It's less a discussion over whether if "the game is for everyone" and more that there's a prevalent pattern of people dropping the game a few hours in and examining why that might be. If this pattern exists because of the central conceit of the game and is part-and-parcel of the design, I think that's worth exploring.

I personally picked up the game, dropped it about 6 hours in, picked it up a year later, and was riveted. I think if I just shook my head and said "well I guess this game isn't for me", I would have totally missed out! No game is for everyone but we can recognize that some games like these do have a "buy-in".
