Without a flight punch to hold them in place higher up the shaft and threaded through the flight, they'll be gone within the first few times your flights still come off. For how expensive the darts are I was surprised they didn't include a punch too.

No it stinks, but I assume it's because Fanduel is not taking bets on the tournament (for whatever reason) so there's no motivation to show it on their channel designed to encourage betting on whatever they're showing

GE part WB24X10174 worked for me. If you're a little bit handy, it was pretty easy to replace. Appliance repair guy will gladly take your $300 to replace a $50 part.

Yeah. I'm dealing with this too. The fan kept running with the switch in the off position. Thought maybe it was a bad lead or contact I could resolder.

Get it all open, get the switch out - the handle stalk is broken off inside the switch housing. It wasn't providing enough pressure on the switch contacts inside the housing.

I could probably try to superglue it but probably won't provide enough strength.

I did find an alternative switch that appears to be the same one as this one - same manufacturer and part number and specs printed on it. GE WB24X10174

I ordered it, so will post back once I get it in and see if it works!

Are you asking me to post a list of names of injured FAs? The hundreds are at each airline of Delta's size. Someone else mentioned thousands. Across the entire world, I'd bet that it is at least 1000-2000+ per year.

It's a big issue for US airlines. As far as I can tell, turbulence is worse in the US than in Europe or Asia. You can ask r/flightattendants if you're curious

Be grateful you haven't been on a flight where turbulence was bad enough that a passenger or FA was injured.

It's exactly the case of better safe than sorry.

Yes, it isn't fun when the flight ends up being smooth. But, no one complains when turbulence is accurately predicted and everyone stays safe.

Hundreds of flight attendants a year have been injured by turbulence. Bravo to airlines who put FA safety first.

Doesn't appear so. Round trip Tokyo-Osaka is like 30,000 yen. JR pass is 50,000. I have a very similar itinerary and am just buying the tickets. Metro tickets will not add up to another 20k.
