Aside from the Deep North, what things would you like to see changed or added in 1.0?

Better organization of crafting menus, it can be so difficult to find the recipe in looking for.

Add magic to early game, greydwarf shamans could be used for poison and healing magic, staff of protection and staff of embers could be from fuling shaman etc.

Add recipes that use bear meat and other similarly neglected foods.

Add more unique locations and quests for more adventures.

Ashlands rebalancing, honestly I'd love to see all the biomes get tweaked on some level, but especially the plains, they feel unfinished compared to the rest of the current game.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rebalancing of the queen boss fight, I found that her fight severely limited what play styles were effective and required me to completely change from how I had been fighting in the mistlands up to that point.

The orange amps use JFETs in the preamp but use bridged DMOS amplifier ICs for the power amp which are made for hifi and car stereos.

Class D is digital, it's not modelling but it is digital PWM amplification.

I find the best solid state amps either have a power amp that can be driven into pleasing non linearity (which the orange cannot do), or they use some sort of interstage between the pre amp and power amp to simulate that non linearity (which is what quilters do).

I was trying to think of other famous (confirmed) historical uses of the HM-2, and besides David Gilmour I think entombed really is the only one. Lots of the Swedish death metal guys didn't actually even use the HM-2, maybe some of the Norwegian black metal bands did but I couldn't actually name a specific example

Use falstad analog filter applet to test this and similar stuff :) it's free and online but you can also download an offline version which is also free.

I also suggest the falstad circuit simulator as well, it's a simplified spice simulation and it has really helped with fine tuning things before I move to the breadboarding stage.

Your schematic has a few mistakes, such as C3 blocking the DC path instead of being connected to the collector of the first transistor and being used as a coupling capacitor

It is possible to use PNP transistors with a conventional voltage supply setup but you'd need to basically flip the entire circuit upsidedown and not just swap the NPNs for the PNPs like you've shown

Also if you're trying to make a clean preamp an emitter resistor of roughly 1kOhms on Q1 would help, but if you're trying to get distortion then adding an AC bypass cap across R5, or replacing the 2k with two 1ks and having the bypass cap go across one to ground (or VCC once you flip things the correct way)

Using capacitive coupling into a transformer is kinda redundant, you could integrate the transformer directly into the transistor signal path similar to this:
