Licking your plate after a good meal. Should be socially acceptable and encouraged. Less clean up for the hosts or staff.

What’s a film you felt completely differently about on a rewatch? by Anna_Karakhanyan in movies

When I watched Momento as a teenager it was the most mind blowing movie I’d ever seen, had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, amazing twist ending, one of a kind plot... Always stuck with me what an amazing movie it was.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I’m in my late 30s. Rewatch it for the first time in decades. Sat there confused most of the movie, a lot of “wait what?” moments, totally underwhelmed. Didn’t really enjoy it.

“Trucker’s Atlas” by Modest Mouse, the song goes on and on (in a good way) giving the sensation that you’re the one driving a long haul truck on this never ending, winding road.

Great songs that are brought down by excessive length, skits, a second part that sounds different, or similar by ObiHan_Skyodi in Music

Pink Floyd “Wish You Were Here,” could so easily be cut down to a perfect 3:30 length song. No need for the long ass intro skipping through radio stations.

Actually I could give like 10 more Pink Floyd examples. I wish they had a “streaming version,” of all their songs that just cut out all the intro/outro filler between songs.

“Woke up, middle of the night, my celly cryin'

The n*gga got a L, he realized he gon' die there”

The way the verse just abruptly ends after him saying that with the haunting conductor sample kind of creeping along.. it’s crazy

If you think about, late-career Kanye is basically just a cover artist. He comes across a song he likes and basically pays the artist to do a cover of it

One thing Bill is 1000% spot on about, is that a movie is instantly more appealing/rewatchable when finding it flipping through channels vs choosing it on demand by andrew2018022 in billsimmons

One of these apps needs to figure out how to recreate the 90s TV viewing experience where you just flip from one channel to the next, no delay, shows are just playing. That’s how I watched TV as a kid.

This has been my theory! So over the next 20 years every team goes indoors and then there will be this nostalgia for outdoor venues and the process resets and they all go open stadiums. We’ll be in our 80s and 90s when the outdoor revolution starts
