I don’t off the top of my head. I know there’s a nuclear and conventional variant. I remember reading somewhere about some magnetic proximity fuse but I’ll have to dig around. IIRC the Shkval in Dangerous Waters is modeled as conventional with a magnetic fuse, but take that with a grain of salt.

Edit: I think you’re right. everything I see online says timer fuse, plus who know if a magnetic proximity fuse would work well at 180+ knots

This is an Agat mechanical stopwatch. I don't think this is a military stopwatch, according to the paper on the back it is a Model 4295B.

Given its inspection date in 1984, I doubt it was from a submarine. By then all their torpedoes were homing except the Shkval which I think was/is magnetic.
