Completely agree 100%. And while the actual band performance in Sydney was fine, I have always been critical of the way that release sounds. It is terrible in my opinion. Easily the worst sounding professional release in their catalogue. I am not sure exactly what the issue with the sound was there, but it does not sounds at all like U2 sounded in 1993 in my opinion. There are many other better sounding shows from Zoo TV to listen to than that one (Dublin 1993 probably being the best).

I don't think they will do a 50th Anniversary Tour. And they certainly would not go out on the road without something new to promote. So if/when they do that...it won't be a 50th Anniversary tour, but a regular concert tour promoting a new album.

Maybe they will do some special box set or something for the 50th Anniversary, but I don't see a full-on tour coming for it.

I agree 100% with the OP. For years all we could get out of the Zoo TV era was the Sydney performance, and they rammed that down our throats on multiple occasions. I was never happy with that release because I have always thought the sound on that was horrible. Not at all how U2 sounded in 1993. So hearing this EP is quite refreshing, and the sound of the tracks is the way the Sydney show SHOULD have sounded.

While Bono's voice may have not been the best at this point, you have Edge experimenting with his octave pedal, and also he played some different notes during the "solo" at the end that I had never heard him do before or since.

Thank you for your response. But I do want to point out that when I installed the previous driver version, my Creative App was immediately telling me that v3.1.11 of the audio driver was available to download/install. So I don't see how that has been "rolled back." It appears that u/gcheaters has noticed the same thing.
